Updated Review: Customer service reached out after the battery died within 10 months of purchase. We were able to verify that it was a manufacturer related issue and they sent me a replacement battery. Dyson is working great now and I am relieved to get some more life out of the vacuum. Original Post: This was a great battery when I first bought it as it fit my Dyson perfectly. I followed the instructions to extend battery life that were provided which I felt were a great touch and it has officially died and is non responsive after only 10 months. I definitely expected this battery to last longer than that. Disappointed in long term performance.

I cannot recommend this battery. I bought this as a second battery for my V15s. I charged it no more than 5 times. It died. I wrote the manufacturer and they were very polite. However, I notified them of the issue about two weeks after warranty expiration and was denied assistance. I do not fault them for denying assistance, as it was out of warranty. But to have a battery only accept 5 charges and last for only one year is unacceptable. Period.

The original battery died in my Dyson and this was an extremely easy fix and upgrade! I have found that the battery lasts longer and I have never run out of charge when cleaning my home. (House is 5000 sq/ft+) I love that they finally made a battery that's easy to install, just click it in. It's a perfect fit and has no issues charging with the original charger and dock. I have not had any issues with it heating up. Overall very happy with this upgraded battery. It is just as high quality as the original if not better. More powerful and larger capacity too. I loved the extra parts it came with as well!

I installed a replacement EGR 7000 mAh battery, and my overall impressions are positive. After the replacement, the device is working stably again, and the battery life has increased significantly compared to the old battery. It charges without any problems, holds its charge for a long time, and I haven't noticed any power loss.

Fit perfectly in the Dyson but I returned it because the vacuum was broken and no longer needed the battery. Unable to say about performance or longevity of the charge but it fit right in place with no difficulties.

I bought this 10 months ago and it already died. Not long lasting at all and I’m super disappointed! Not worth the price.

Updated review. I was having trouble with what appeared to be my original battery and purchased this. This battery resulted in the same error I was getting on my vacuum. After additional troubleshooting, it appeared the problem was with the charger itself (even though it indicated it was charging). After replacing tbe charger both batteries worked. Their customer service was very helpful, they tried to help me troubleshoot the problem via email. Would recommend.

Great Packaging, included new filters, which was great...the old one was getting tired of being washed. Fit right in, was vacuuming within minutes....cause, you know thats what every girl wants to do, spend her time vacuuming! But if i have to do it - this is the tool! great to get it back running with this battery!

The battery is more powerful and efficient than the original Dyson. However, I can't comment on its durability.
