Hubby suffering from old military injuries and arthritis in lower back area. The pump allows for the support he needs. He has another belt (strong supports but w/o the blow up feature), that he really like until he used this one. The blow up feature allows way more and stronger support. We now have 2 of these belts 1 for at home, the other in the rv so he always has this belt with him. He pretty much wears this belt 24/7.

Perfect brace well worth the cost extra for electric pump. My old one gave up after several years.

This is a good alternative to a back brace, it uses some air to help with supporting my lower back and isn't as restrictive as a back brace. It offers support but I don't really feel the traction. I think standing up won't give me that traction as there's too much gravity. I lay down with this and that seems to provide more space, but I wanted to waer this while working which doesn't work as well.

I ordered this specifically for decompression purposes. I have tried the belt on numerous occasions and it does give me a feeling of back support, however I personally don't feel any decompression either during or after use.The pump is easy to use and works well to inflate the belt. When fully charged it can inflate the belt a fair number of times before needing to recharge. When the belt is going from deflated to inflated it does appear like it would be providing decompression but for me it feels like the belt just moves position on my body and redistributes the compression over a wider area. The belt is easy to install as shown in the listing videos but in my experience I have to attach it much tighter than they show to be able to feel much from max inflation. As I said earlier, once inflated it does feel like it's providing me with back support but I was hoping to get a feeling of decompression which I personally do not receive when using this.

This air decompression belt is fabulous. I’ve had back surgery and now have scoliosis and 2 seriously herniated discs in my lower back.I’m on pretty heavy pain medication but there’s still that painful pinge during and after my chores. Once put on, this belt inflates vertically so the vertebrae are ever so slightly separated, thus relieving the pressure on the discs.The difference and relief are amazing.This belt is also much more comfortable than the usual black velcroed back braces. I can move around or sit all day with total ease.

I got this because my lower back has been holding a grudge against me for years, and I figured it was time to call a truce. The belt itself is comfortable, and the electric pump makes inflation effortless—no manual squeezing or feeling like I’m blowing up a pool float. Once inflated, it gives a nice, firm support that makes sitting or standing for long periods a little more tolerable. It’s not bulky, but it’s not exactly subtle either, so if you were planning on wearing this under a fitted outfit, be prepared for some extra "lumbar volume."Now, does it completely erase back pain? Not quite, but it does take the edge off, especially if I’ve been sitting too long. It’s more of a relief-in-the-moment kind of thing rather than a magical fix. If you’re expecting this to replace professional treatment, it’s probably not going to do that, but for some quick decompression and extra support, it does the job. Plus, anything that lets me complain about my back just a little less is worth keeping around.

This belt is advertised to provide support and decompression for your lower back. When using this belt I found that as you add air it definitely provides support for your lower back but I couldn’t quite feel the decompression feature it advertises. It is comfortable but a little bulky. I found I got the best relief by sitting in a reclining position when I used it. It did help with my mild back pain when I regularly used it. It is easy to put on and take off with the velcro fasteners. It is well made but a little on the pricey side. I dropped one star because of the decompression feature I really couldn’t feel.
