Mama Lupe Low Carb Tortillas Pack of 2

YUM! So after reading a few of these reviews, I decided to give them a try. I personally don't like tortillas overall, but being newly on Keto I was starting to miss the simplicity of bread. Idk what all the fuss was about the taste? I personally think they taste like wheat tortillas. I don't think they taste bad at all. I like that I can make a sandwich by using this. There is no prep work. Just take out of package and its ready to be topped with and eaten. I actually made the recipe on the back - Artichoke Feta Tortilla Wrap. I just added chicken and replaced the roasted red peppers with sun dried tomatoes. They were quite filling and had a nice texture. They were delish! I am going to stock my freezer with them.

These truly are the best low carb tortillas I've ever had. I'm super picky about regular tortillas, but these are really good! They don't have a strong flavor and don't compete with the ingredients you put inside. The only thing I wish they'd do, is put some sort of plastic sheeting in between each one so I can just pop the whole package in the freezer. I have to open it up first and put my own wax paper in between before putting them in the freezer. Other than that, these truly are worth the money!

Being a diabetic, I have to keep a close watch on my carbs. I've been doing it for years and eat very little bread. Wasting precious carbs on tortillas was way down my list! But I thought I would try these as a bread substitute, since I really do miss my sandwiches. I was surprised and delighted to find they are very good, for tortillas. I use them instead of bread for almost any kind of sandwich I want, pb&j, tuna, egg salad or deli meats. Not quite as good as some yummy homemade bread, but better than going without. They are a bit pricey, but worth it to me :)

I purchased two packs of these flour tortillas to compliment the low carb eating my husband and I were trying. They had so many positive reviews I was very optimistic. Unfortunately when we opened them they were completely stuck together, both packages! We received them with Prime, in two days, and personally received them from the UPS guys so they didn't sit out in the sun. We tried refrigerating them, steaming them, gently peeling them, nothing worked. I was able to get one half way decent tortilla that only had one small hole in it and the rest were in bits and pieces. We ended up throwing them all away. The tortilla tasted very stale so maybe they were old or subjected to not so great conditions during shipping. I would love to eat these so maybe someone else has had this problem and has a suggestion as to how to resolve this or whether or not it was only an anomaly.

I enjoyed these tortillas. I put them in the oven and made vegan Tostadas. I'm a Keto vegan so finding these really made my day. I would have given 5 stars if they weren't so pricey. But they are worth it. Especially when your cutting down on carbs. I have used them soft for breakfast burritos. And my husband says they taste no different than the regular flour ones we used to eat. They stayed fresh in the fridge. I will buy these again.

Truly a great way to enjoy a low carb option!!! 10 per pack which equates to about $1 per tortilla. Very versatile for various food recipes like wraps, quesadilla, a mini pizza maybe, breakfast burrito etc etc. Lowest carb I have seen and cannot find in any health store yet. Tasty! A must try. Finally tried making a quesadilla and it turned out great on my panini maker!

HEADS UP, “IF” .... you are seeking keto friendly tortillas, THESE ARE FAR FROM KETO FRIENDLY!! IF you are on “lazy keto” it’s fine, I ENJOYED these tortillas for a few years & it never disrupted my weight loss, albeit for strict keto folks these are NOT keto friendly whatsoever as their primary ingredients is “WHEAT FLOUR.” Not to mention they contain “SUCRALOSE” ... (depends on what side of the argument you are on) science concludes the following, according to Perfect Keto. 🙄 Research on “SUCRALOSE” (Splenda) known as organchlorine sweetener because it’s formed through chlorination of sucrose. When you eat this chlorinated sugar derivative, it interacts with chemical sensors in your mouth to create a powerfully sweet taste, without the caloric load of real sugar. PURE sucralose, contains ZERO calories. THIS IS THE QUESTION “do these tortillas contain PURE sucralose” ???? Splenda, contains bulking agents “maltodextrin & dextrose” (corn derived from glucose) these added sweetness account for the FULL caloric load of 3.75 calories PER “1” packet of Splenda! Hence. Because Splenda contains added sugars, this sweetening blend impacts one’s sugar levels. :( *People argue that it can cause cancer. *Note Latest research according to “Prevention.com” put out NEW studies indicating that “sucralose” is actually metabolized (opposed to passing through the GI tract indigested) ...& IF baking with it sucralose decomposes during baking, which releases potentially toxic compounds called chloroproanols. THE ABOVE is soooo unfortunate as I was literally HOOKED on these !! 😳🤯😭 They taste sooo dam good, not to mention the texture is pretty amazing for low carb! I did not realize they contained wheat until an Amazon question came across asking about “corn & yeast” .. only then did I realize the MAIN ingredient was “WHEAT FLOUR.” 😕 YES, they also contain “corn starch” as well as sucralose. THEN upon further pondering I realized how much SOY they use, another bummer!! ONE CUP of “wheat flour” contains the following: 95 grams of total carbs 3.4 grams of dietary fiber 0.3 grams of sugar content 13 grams of protein TOTAL CALORIES 455 In the ingredients (that I will post) it has a lot of soy :( ... really wish they would have NOT used it! Due to being a breast cancer survivor I can’t continue to purchase these 😓 ... Contains SOY FLOUR, SOY OIL & ISOLATED SOY PROTEIN. WOW, it took a simple question to figure out what the hell I was eating. Mind you, I am a pretty clean eater, these tortillas for ME are now a thing of the past! 😫

These are only 3 net carbs each and they are great! You can find them for about a third of this price elsewhere, just search online. I will not buy them again on here. This price is ridiculous! The product itself is terrific though if you want something low carb or keto. They store well in the freezer too.
