I am new to using gel polish and it is a lot easier than I anticipated! Beetles foundation (base) coat really grips the Beetles color gel polish to my already powder dipped nails. I have thin nails so I use clear NailBoo powder dip (1 coat) over my natural nails to strengthen them.Beetles gel polish is easy to use, holds up very well, and has so many colors to choose from. I ordered the Blooming gel polish to try and create designs as I see on YT. The products go on smoothly, the colors pop, the blooming gel works great! After drying them under my LED light the nails are super shiny (with Glossy Top Coat). I did some test nails and the matte top coat looked like it was going to be shiny when I applied it, but after 90 seconds in the LED lamp it came out totally matte. The matte gel polish top coat does not smell good, at all, but it is Very Cool how it turns out.I’ve added some pictures (please don’t judge this was my first attempt at creating patterns) below for you to see the product in use. Texture is smooth, colors are bright and vibrant and so far the product is t getting clumpy. I did watch a tutorial that said to wipe your brush after coating your nail (if you dipped them first) and that seems to help with keeping the product clean.

This top and base coat set is good asf. It applies smoothly, dries perfectly under my gel lamp, and gives my nails that salon quality finish tbh. No bubbling, no stickiness just good shine and strong hold, AND it’s affordable? chileeeee. also, it has no weird smell eitherSuperrr beginner friendly and lasts without chipping. 10/10 would recommendddd

These gel nail products are amazing! The formula goes on smooth, dries evenly, and gives a beautiful, glossy finish that looks just like a professional salon manicure. I researched several different brands of top coats bc I got a uv/led lamp as a gift just this past Xmas, so I needed to get gel polishes..especially a gel top coat. So because you get a base coat & a top coat AND at such a great price, along with the amount of positive reviews & huge number of people gave them the high ratings it has..I was convinced I should give these polishes a try. And I was not disappointed! I am very satisfied with this brand & their polishes! Since the very first time I did my nails & used this base & top coat, I was hooked! I had never had such a great experience using a uv/led lamp using gel polishes before..so after getting a fully cured(dry) nails after only 60 seconds, I was very pleased with my purchase. They cure completely & beautifully, and they last a really long time without even having to touch them up at any point. I would very much recommend this set to anyone & everyone! Okay this was really difficult to get the hang of I won’t lie. The quality is really good and it does last long. I am still learning with the builder gel it’s hard to get perfect but I am getting better the more I attempt it each time and I feel like it’s honestly just a learning process if you’re wanting to do builder gel at home. I recommend watching a lot of tutorial videos and TikTok’s lol they are very helpful and just practice practice practice and you’ll get it !

This is the best brand of gel nail polish - it is the only kind we get. It goes on smooth, isn't thick and lasts. As long as you prep your nails appropriately, you'll have lasting color.

I have thinner nails that break on the sides into the beds. I hate having super short nails and I can't afford to get my nails done all the time. So I've been looking for something easy that will keep my nails strong enough to not break if I grow a little length to them. This works perfectly, BUT. Even using the base coat first, the builder gel BURNS when it's curing. I have to cure for 3 seconds, pull my hand out and blow cool air on it until the cure sets and it cools down. Then I can finish the cure of the builder gel. My first time redoing the set I soaked it all of and started fresh to see if I could get a better shape, and it still burned like hell. So the third set I just filed down some of the gel and prepped my nails like you would get an acrylic refill and did the 3 steps over a layer of the gel. This worked so well. There was barely any burning and I could keep my hand in the lamp for the whole cure. I got the clear and it stayed clear, no yellowing. They didn't chip at all either. I didn't cap them well enough the first time and the ends of the nails lifted a tiny bit, but the second and third times I had no problems with lifting so it was probably my application that did it. I use traditional nail polishes not gel, so I just buffed the shine off the top coat and painted them like normal and the polish stayed looking awesome for the whole week I wore it.
