Hopefully it's real copper, because if it's not, it's going to contaminate my pickling solution I use after soldering jewelry. I'll be able to tell over time, but so far it's wonderful, and helping me remove things from my pickling pot. If you don't see an update, it's still doing great. It was affordable and is good quality.

These tongs are built well and are a good value for the money spent. They are of a sufficient length for taking pieces out of the pickle pot and grip with ease while closing nicely around the pieces. They have no sharp edges and are non locking making them a good choice for adding and removing items from the pot.
