Outstanding, will use again to buy more vinyl

Concept albums became the curse of prog rock but there were always exceptions which proved that the rule could be a most worthwhile listening experience. This is one of them.Few "conventional" albums have as many good toons as this one. But as usual with concept albums this record rises above the sum of the parts. The story is important but should not get in the way of thinking about buying this album.Maybe if you already enjoy PG's solo albums you might have been put off earlier records by the bad image Genesis has had (unjustifiably in most cases). This has Gabriel's offbeat view of the world throughout the lyrics and music making it a unique masterpiece. The underlying tensions of the band prior to its break up may also leak through on occasion but if you have to leave something behind it's good to go out on a high of this magnitude.

The new mix sounds great. You can hear all the instruments well. Vocals are very strong. Nice improvements to a classic.

un capitolo dei genesis che chiude il capitolo di Gabriel ,ottimo disco ,qualche scratch e nel vinile ,copertina abbastanza buona ,peccato mancano i testi delle canzoni
