Works really well, connects to Peloton bike every time automatically. HR looks good.

It just works! It is less than half the price of the Suunto HRM, which are only lasting a year before failing. And it works without fuss at the same time as connecting to the watch to my Octane elliptic cross trainer and the Ski Erg. Previously the Octane required me to wear a Polar chest strap along with the Suunto chest strap. The Octane would not connect to the Suunto chest strap without first disconnecting the chest strap from the watch.

I am used various brands of HRM’s over the years. They seem to last a few months to over a decade. I bought the Cardiosport TP5D because it recommended for HRV testing. It also takes a CR2032 battery rather than a CR2025 and so should last longer between changes. Cardiosport also seems to be a small UK based company, with manufacturing in Taiwan, and so worth supporting. I will continue to update this review as and when I encounter any issues but after several runs it seems very comparable to my Polar H9. The chest belt does suffer from dryness when first setting out even with gel. I think this is because the rubber pads are relatively small. The pod fits all my current straps including Garmin and Polar. A tip for longevity of all HRM’s is to use waterproof tape to seal over the battery compartment. This stops any sweat ingress, which shorts the battery. I will update this review when I change the battery for the first time. For reference I get around 65 hours from my Polar H9 and so with the additional battery capacity I am hoping for a minimum of 90 hours from this. I always use Panasonic or Maxell batteries. Edit: 19/01/26 Battery failure. HRM dropped out during run. Tested battery and it was reading 60% after run and so needs changing after only 8.75hrs of activities. Very poor given the data in the user manual suggest that the standby current is so low that the battery should last in storage for almost infinity! I will return because I don't want to be left with another HRM that eats batteries!! A real shame!

This was great initially but I bought end May 2024 so just a little over 12 months its fallen apart...literally! The part where you clip on the hrm has come apart as has the back or the hrm itself. It looks like its rusted and gone mouldy inside. I always unclipped and wipe it clean after all my runs but its obviously not enough. I'll have to find something else

I wanted a modern HRM for cycling and learned that all modern HRM transponders work with all the smart phone apps. I decided to try three models, all of the chest strap type; the Coospo H808s, HiFit and the Cardiosport TP5D. All the sensors paired easily with the apps I tried and worked reliably and accurately (I don't think there is any possibility any of them could be inaccurate provided they stay in place on your chest and maintain connection). Of the three, I liked and kept the Cardiosport TP5D; it was marginally the more expensive - though much cheaper than the Polar or Wahoo - but supports two Bluetooth connections - which I have not needed yet, is the smallest, promises longest battery life (untested) and there is excellent UK telephone support from helpful and knowledgeable staff.

Works extremely well and does its job. Only downside in my opinion is the way the strap fastens.

Bought this to replace my Tickr (which kept dropping out). I had used Cardiosport products in the past with no issues. At a fraction of the cost of the Tickr this has been solid without any issues.

Item stopped working after 2 months and can't be returned. Wasted my money on this product, don't buy.

- D'abord un gros problème d'exécution de commande. Amazon a perçu la TVA à la source comme d'application depuis juillet 2021... mais le vendeur britannique n'a pas fourni d'indication de perception à la source sur le formulaire de transport. Et donc la douane belge a prélevé à nouveau la TVA plus des frais (élevés) de dédouanement. Le vendeur a indemnisé ces frais. Sans s'excuser autrement pour la lourdeur et la longueur des démarches qu'il a causées. - Ensuite, Cardiosport vante son "FF5 ULTRA SOFT CHEST STRAP" (TP5D). La sangle est certainement confortable, mais l'essentiel fait cruellement défaut. La sangle se détend rapidement. Le contact entre peau et les électrodes est irrégulier. Bref, la capture des pulsations cardiaques pendant une activité sportive est aléatoire, non fiable. - Il y a moyen d'utiliser le capteur Cardiosport avec des sangles Garmin ou "chinoises" (comme celle de mon capteur Moofit), en renonçant au confort et aux électrodes magiques de Cardiosport. La performance est au rang de la Moofit, sans plus. - La longévité de batterie de 900+ heures est un infomercial. C'est à diviser facilement par 2.

Nachdem ich keinen Brustgurt-Herzfrequenzmesser gefunden habe, der laut Rezensionen frei von Mängeln und Beanstandungen ist, habe ich mir dieses Modell mit noch wenigen Bewertungen bestellt. Mittlere Preisklasse, halbwegs vertrauenserweckende Website des Anbieters, funktional das, was ich gesucht habe. Das Produkt wurde in der angekündigten Zeit aus Großbritannien geliefert, Verpackung und Inhalt machen einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist gut, aber nur in Englisch. Die Bluetooth Kopplung mit meiner Android App (acentas HR Monitor) hat problemlos funktioniert und ist bislang stabil. Der Brustgurt ist leicht anzulegen und angenehm zu tragen, auch bei starker Bewegung des Oberkörpers. Nach ganz leichtem Anfeuchten der Elektroden hat die Herzfrequenzmessung sofort funktioniert. Nach ein paar Trainingseinheiten auf dem Rudergerät, bei dem ich mich mit dem Brustgurt mit jedem Ruderschlag bis 1,5m vom Smartphone entferne und dann wieder annähere, gab es keine sichtbaren Aussetzer oder unplausiblen Werte in der dargestellten Herzfrequenz. Davon ausgehend, dass es so problemlos bleibt, kann ich das Gerät nur empfehlen und volle Punktzahl geben.

Ich habe diesen Pulsmesser gekauft, denn ich war mit dem Polar H10 nicht zufrieden. Die Genauigkeit hat beim Polar nach einem Jahr Gebrauch nachgelassen(wegen dem Gurt). Außerdem wurden die Pulswerte für meinen Geschmack zu stark geglättet, was mich beim Ruhepuls-Messen gestört hat. Cardiosport verspricht ja auch eine super Genauigkeit und einen tollen Gurt. Die Verarbeitung ist wirklich Top und die Elektronik funktioniert auch eigentlich gut. Bluetooth LE und Ant+ funktionieren und die r-r-Intervalle werden übertragen. Leider werden die Pulswerte gegenüber den r-r-Intervallen auch beim TP5 beim Ruhepuls-Messen stark gerundet, vielleicht etwas weniger als beim Polar. Das mag andere Benutzer weniger stören, aber der Brustgurt ist leider auch nicht perfekt. Denn die Elektroden müssen richtig durchnässt sein, damit der Kontakt für genaue Messung da ist. Und er muss relativ fest angezogen sein. Leider lockert er sich hin und wieder und dann zeigt er auch mal 100er Puls beim Bergauf-Quälen an. Wenn ich die Aufzeichnung am PC anschaue, sehe ich doch öfters Rumzappeln der Pulswerte. Vielleicht schwitze ich zu wenig im Winter? Jedenfalls tränke ich die Elektroden vor jeder Fahrt und Lauf mit Wasser und trotzdem sehe ich am PC Sprünge rauf- und runter. Manchmal verläuft sich die Pulsberechnung und er zeigt zu hohe Werte an, wie heute beim Ruhepuls-Messen, 60 statt 42, dann muss man den Sender vom Gurt nehmen und ein Paar Sekunden warten, dann wieder anklipsen und dann misst er wieder richtig. Ein weiterer Minuspunkt ist die mangelhafte Bedienungsanleitung. Der TP5 hat eine Schrittfrequenz Funktion fürs Laufen, dies wird in der Anleitung gar nicht erwähnt. Ich weiß gar nicht wie ich das nutzen soll. Also trotzt guter Verarbeitung und Features ist das Ergebnis nur befriedigend.

Works with my AMBIT2 that often fails with non R-R profile HR Monitors. Good stretchy strap, nice narrow profile, works out of the box both with Android over BLE on my Sony XZ1c, ANT+ Suunto Ambit2 and cateye cycle computer. I can pull RR intervals from the Movecount website in .fit files and see the individual heart beats.
