I'm down to my last two G4 bulbs which are used in our kitchen extractor fan. These are suitable replacements.I don't need to replace any of them now, but I tested them on a 12V power supply...The bulb lit up fine and I estimate the level of brightness was correct (based on past experience).Apparently you are not supposed to touch the glass of the bulb, because the grease on your fingers can damage the bulb. I touched it, and nothing drastic happened !!The bulb does get very hot in use, so care it needed with that.These halogen ones are supposed to last approximately 2000 hours.The light is warm white (2700K), with a CRI of >99.I did wonder if you can get 'cool white' G4 halogen bulbs, but an online search couldn't find these. Maybe they don't exist.Anyway, everything seems to be as it should. The price is good. Recommended.

The Nottac G4 Halogen Light Bulbs arrive securely packed in plastic storage plus bubble wrap - easy to open and close for removal and storage.There is a CE mark printed on the pack which confirms that the product meets EU conformity standards.These are halogen lights - so not energy efficient - but I have to use them because none of the LED equivalents fit into the bulb holders I have.The one I fitted worked fine - I cannot comment on the dimmability - as my device does not have that option.The Nottac G4 Halogen Light Bulbs offer a warm light (I ordered the 10W) They are easy to install. Too early to judge the lifespan, but at £6.00 for 10 they are cost-effective.

This 10-pack of G4 bulbs from Nottac perform well.All 10 bulbs are working out of the box and are flicker-free.They are the same as the halogen bulbs they replaced in terms of colour and brightness.They feel and look a bit no-frills. However, they all work and came securely packaged in a small plastic box with bubble wrap for additional protection inside.Time will tell how they fare for longevity -too soon for me to comment on that.After a quick check on Amazon they appear to be priced around the same price as the best-value 10-packs you can buy with several options at the same price.Provisionally 5 stars from me. I'll update that rating depending on how they last.

As far as I know, there are no LED alternatives to these 20W 12V G4 bulbs. They give a pleasant warm-white light and are dimmable. Due to their small size, they are often used in compact reflector fittings in cabinets etc.They came bubble wrapped and packaged a convenient, small plastic box. As with all halogen bulbs, try to avoid handling when you fit them (use a tissue or clean handkerchief), as this should extend the life of the bulbs.

Useful supply of G4 bulbs. I have a cooker hood that's about 10 years old and it can't use LED bulbs. I've tried and they die after a few hours.This pack of bulbs should keep me going for a year or so. Plugged in and worked first time.

We go through plenty of these as they don’t last all that long in our bathroom cabinet fixture. The bulbs give off a warm glow so handy for use at night or in the dark winter mornings without stinging your eyes accustomed to the dark too much. £6 for a pack of 10 is good value in my opinion and comparable to buying in our local marketplace.

Have used several of these to replace blown ones in a decorative lamp in our dining room that takes a load of them. Fitted and working without issue.

I got these G4 bulbs as replacements for the ones around my extractor fan. They came in a small plastic case with bubble wrap inside and were easy to insert. They match the existing bulbs perfectly and so far have been working well, I am very happy with these bulbs.
