I got this for a member of my family as a present thinking they might find it interesting and was sitting pondering how to review something aimed at a very specific market. Well the next thing I knew I seemed to be tied down to a big stone alter in the middle of a large pentagon with a man in a goat mask muttering stuff at me and what appeared to be a odd mix of folk wearing very little dancing round the outside of the pentagon. I assume I had fallen asleep while thinking about this review. Anyway the man in the goat mask started waving a large pointed carved stick at me and was sticking herds up my nose which was not nice.Luckily the next thing I knew I had woken up and to my surprise have given this 5 stars and a glowing review which to be honest seems like a wise thing to do to me.I'm off out now to see my neighbour she's an odd character and seems to have made a large Wicker Man and is struggling to light it so I will go and help her, after all helping your neighbour is what village life is all about . . .5 stars

I'm not a witch, nor do I have much interest in taking it up, but my wife was interested and I was curious so decided to pick this kit up.Regardless of my thoughts about witchcraft, there's no denying that the makers of this kit have certainly put the effort in. It's a very tightly packed box practically bursting at the seams, and I mean that literally. After opening it I can't for the life of me get everything back in so that the box closes flat again!The contents are very well laid out with individual packets for the herbs etc and even black velvet bags for the mini alter bowl and stones (which are also individually wrapped in clingfilm).The alter cloth is folded up and takes a while to flatten out properly, but the application of a couple of heavy books sped up the process.The booklet is the only slight let down. It's quite small, but this is by necessity I think as they'd have struggled to get anything larger in here. The quality of the print is very hit or miss though, which is a shame as they've used an interesting font that resembles handwriting. None of it is illegible as far as I can see, but there is noticeable blurring and ghosting of the text on quite a few pages, while others are crisp. I was concerned that it would be badly translated as is all too common now, but it's all fine as far as I can see, though I haven't read it cover to cover or anything.Overall I'm actually quite impressed with the care that's gone into this kit. Though an actual practicing witch may spot basic items that are missing or errors on the cloth, shape of the alter bowl or something else, from my limited point of view this seems like a great starter kit for the price.

Such a great item, although aimed at a very niche market its so well made I'm sure any upcoming witch or warlock will love this.. I am hoping so anyway, as the woman next door keeps leaving her broom for us to trip over. So am hoping my daughter will use everything she has learnt at Hogwarts to make sure we don't get hexed by the strange woman next door.The quality of the kit is amazing, and not just saying that because I'm under some spell or something.. it really is amazing, the herbs, and various potion ingredients are all stored in their own packets, the alter cloth is great, everything in this box is just brilliant.The crystals are so nicely stored in individual jars, the spell book gives you some great things to learn including palmistry, and how to do your own charts.Just great, very well made, very well presented and just a great gift.

This is a beautiful kit for someone new to the craft. It contains all the basics of what a beginner will need, from coloured spell candles tp herbs and parchment paper. It also has a very good and handy booklet.The kit is well put together most certainly thought of by someone good at the craft and it is all of good quality and useful for a beginner.The display and packaging is great and makes it took both pretty and easily set out. I am impressed with the mix of quality, quantity and the realism of it all. Id recommend I anyone is interested as its a good start
