I'm not an expert, but...
...the hatch rate is definitely good enough for me. I put two sea-monkey-food scoops (tiny tiny scoops) of eggs in two containers, and 24 hours later they have both hatched out a ton of little shrimps. One container is 81f and the other is 71f. The warmer one hatched a few hours before the cooler one, but both have many many shrimps hatched. I put the rest of the eggs in the fridge. I'm trying to establish a breeding colony. I don't know what I'll do with the rest of these eggs but I don't think I'll ever run out of shrimp. I think it's probably good I ordered these in winter so the eggs were probably always kept cool. It might not be a good idea to order them in summer.

Terrible Hatch Rate – Tried in Two Containers, Same Result
I’ve been hatching brine shrimp for years and this was by far the worst experience. I followed the instructions exactly and tried two separate containers (one kept at about 78°F, the other at 82°F). Both had the same result: almost no hatching. The eggs were clumpy right out of the package, which made me suspicious. With other brands, I see hatching around 18 hours and have plenty to feed baby axolotls by 24 hours into the process. With this brand, I waited over 60 hours and still saw barely any movement — just a few flutterings. Nowhere near the 90% hatch rate they claim. More like 10%, if that. Actually, 10% is being generous. I ended up tossing the batch and ordering another brand just to make sure my baby axolotls didn’t go hungry. Total waste of time and money. I recorded a video showing the poor hatch results if anyone wants proof. I don’t know if what I received was just a really bad batch and ann anomaly, but my experience was enough to make me never want to purchase this brand again. Avoid this brand if you rely on a consistent, viable hatch in order to feed sensitive aquatic critters.

High hatch rate
Ordered my 4th package. High hatch rate. Very good quality. Wish the packaging was bigger for my fry stock but it is a great product. Will continue to purchase.

Easy to use product. Will definitely use again and good price.
First time doing Brine shrimp for baby axolotls. Process was easy. I just poured tap water in the vessel with the eggs. Let it aerate for an hour. Place in a teaspoon of sea salt. Didn’t heat the water at all. After 48 hours there were brine shrimp everywhere scurrying to the small flashlight I placed at the bottom. Released the clip and allowed the water to flow through the mesh net provided. Rinsed the shrimp with fresh water from a bottled water and sucked them up with the provided bulb. Plenty of brine shrimp and the babies are going after them. Thoroughly satisfied. In the video I took the babies are pretty full and aren’t moving a lot by the time I took it about 2 hours later, but one is definitely still feeding.

Following the directions was a fail, hatching haphazardly worked out great 🤷🏻♀️
I have one jar that I did everything 100% to the directions. Heated to 82° f 3 teaspoons of salt air etc I have about 4 survivors. The second jar I just dumped one teaspoon in 1 quart of water with one tablespoon of salt. Put the cover on that one has about a 95% hatch & survivor rate 🤷🏻♀️

Great product but watch out for the big bags
I would have rated it 5 stars, it is very good almost every time I’ve purchased it I’ve gotten awesome hatch rates I use marine salt 1/2cup per gallon with the water at 82 degrees Fahrenheit and I get awesome hatch rates atleast 90% I’d say, they aren’t the fastest for hatching atleast not lately the first times I got them they would hatch in a day but It depends on the batch, I’ve bought the product many times and have had a great experience overall but the last few times I’ve bought the large bag and both times I did they didn’t hatch at all so I ordered a small bag and those hatched no problem, I had bought the big bag before and hadn’t had any issues but for some reason atleast the last couple of times times I got the big bag nothing hatched, I think it may have something to do with the fact that these last few times the top of the bag which is supposed to come sealed shut for you to rip off has come without sealing maybe it’s just a bad batch but it’s happened twice so far on two separate occasions so idk I’m hesitant to try again but the smaller bags seem to be good still so atleast for now if your reading this close to the time I wrote this I recommend getting the smaller bags or trying a different brand, not that it isn’t possible the small bags also come bad but it hasn’t been my experience, hopefully they’ll fix this problem with the big bags soon but for now that’s my recommendation it’s a great product tho overall when it does work so definitely would recommend but watch out for the big bags.
