It’s the best smelling deodorant I’ve ever used. Smells like a high quality cologne. Very good naturals used to make the fragrance. Zero skin irritation. Blocks sweat while it’s on. Works well enough. It’s 100% naturals so it doesn’t last long at all. That stinks but all full naturals have horrible longevity. You get what you ask for. I use ALOT of deodorant and since this is full naturals I knew it would be bad. One stick lasts me like a week because I constantly reapply when it stops working which is about 4 hours after initial application. If you’re looking for full naturals that’s what you will get. If you get better then the company is fooling you. I knew what I was getting when I ordered this so I was not unpleasantly surprised. For what it is, it’s a 5/5. But if you don’t know what it is you’re buying then look elsewhere because the natural stuff won’t get you what you want.

I use Viking Revolution beard care products and have for years. I like the scents they offer because they aren’t overbearing and last all day. I used to use unscented products because I would get a headache from the scents until I tried Viking Revolution. That being said I was very disappointed in the deodorant. For the longest time I have used Dr. Squatch body wash and deodorant because of their all natural components and outdoors scents. When I noticed VR started offering deodorant I figured I would give it a shot. Why not have all my hygiene care products from the same place, right? Well, they showed up and the scents were great. I purchased Sandalwood and Sweet Tobacco. The scents were the same as my beard balm and I loved them. I am a kitchen manager in a high traffic restaurant. I would notice at the end of the day that I was getting a little ripe. Those were 10-11hr days. Today was my “half day”. I went in at 4 and was out by 9. I smell like I was back in the oilfield pulling 12-14 hour days in 120° heat where no deodorant stood a chance. Unacceptable when I can use Dr. Squatch and still smell as fresh afterwork as I did when I put it on before work. Their beard care, from what I have used, is top notch and I wouldn’t use anything else. This, however, needs more work done to be a good purchase.

First off, this is a well made product and I feel bad giving it 3 stars, but 3 stars are the most honest reviews, and here is my honest take: I like the packaging and branding. I ordered a sampler pack of their solid colognes and liked the Oud scent, so I went ahead and purchased the beard oil, balm, full-size solid cologne and the Oud deodorant. Out of the tube, the deodorant smells great; however, I believe the main ingredient reacts poorly with my body’s chemistry. Within minutes, my armpits and shirt just smell acrid and nasty. I had just showered and my wife thought one our tweens had BO, but I’m sure it was me. All of the other products are good. The balm, oil, and cologne seem to blend right in to my natural aroma, though I do think the cologne is a bit weak. I use it as more of a skin conditioner, applying a much larger quantity than recommended to my arms and legs. The smell is barely noticeable after a few minutes, which is fine. It seems to be a good “neutralizer” for the bad smells and leaves me smelling clean and slightly woodsy. TLDR; it’s a nice scent, but it reacts badly in my underarm environment. If you know the acrid smell I’m talking about from using other products, avoid this one.

My original review is below. While the product does not work they apologized and refunded my money. Didn’t even ask for me to remove or edit my review. That’s a good company and a good business model. I don’t have a bad BO problem but I do need deodorant. I have sensitive underarms so I was looking something natural. I’ve give it a fair run and have almost used up the stick. This stuff works for a total of 3 hrs. Take a shower and boom I smell myself in 3 hrs. Utterly useless.

Omg this deodorant smells awesome. There was no skin irritation but depending on how much you use at a time it goes thru my shirt. Might be because I love it so much and put to much on. I can still smell it on me the next day so it lasts. Over all it’s a good product I would buy it again but it is pretty pricey for me to buy again.

I'll start off by giving credit where credit is due. I ordered the Majestic Oud scent and it smells amazing from the stick and right after you put it on. I'm actually a big fan of the oud note in fragrances, so I was excited to get this deodorant. The other area where I want to give credit is that the box is cardboard and the entire case of the deodorant is made of cardboard/paper-based products. I can't find a single spec of plastic and I appreciate that. It's because of these two aspects that I gave this deodorant 2-stars instead of 1. The bad part, it just doesn't stop the B.O. like other deodorants due. I've used other natural deodorants (as in, not anti-perspirants) and they stop the B.O. all day long. The problem I've had with those is that they give me a bad itchy rash. With this deodorant, however, I only get about 4-5 hours before the B.O kicks in. I need all-day protection, so my search for an effective, natural deodorant continues. Thankfully I didn't get a rash from this deodorant. But I have to rate it 2 stars because it didn't block the B.O. I just can't have that.

What in the name of complaints is going on here? I read all the reviews and then I bought it. I love this brand. Yes, it doesn't stay up, that's the point. Otherwise you'd smash it. No, you don't squeeze it guys. Slide it up, put your ring finger under it and use it. It's a deodorant not an antiperspirant. So yes you will still sweat. It smells great and does last a few hours. Just try it. Mother Earth will thank you.

Thought I would try this deodorant a mistake. Bought it in 12/2024 - thought I'd give it a chance before I reviewed it. It neither resembles anything said about it in the company write up on Amazon nor works at all as a deodorant. I am glad that one person liked it because it is cardboard and thus saves trees (my words interpreting what reviewer says). However, it does not save my armpits from smelling like they had no deodorant; i. e. it does not work. I am 85, switched from Mitchum (which always works especially in the modified formula) to see if the scent which people. The cardboard container is lousy, the deodorant stick part does not stay up - either have to put fingers in to hold it up or squeeze card board container to do so. Almost everything I buy on Amazon over the past years that I have taken the time to rate gets a 5, occasional 4 - first time I ever rated something a 1. This is it - does not work as advertised, shoddy cardboard container, and the fact that it advertises no aluminum is a come on for probably some purchasers here. I did not buy it for the "no" aluminum because aluminum is not harmful as virtually all tests over the years have shown especially as now formulated. There is not one single reliable study that has shown this - I am back to Mitchum which will show as a purchase for me recently on Amazon. Thought I'd "pretty up" my arm pits for wife of 60 years (come June) but she noticed it did not work good; and noticed the contortions I have to make to hold deodorant stick up. Sorry, know the makers are trying, dont know why Amazon put it on site. I guess in this day of so many bad crowd funding products this might fit in as a bad crowdfunding product if that's how it came about.

My third order just came in yesterday. Works as advertised. Smells good, lasts all day. I was very happy to find a deodorant that was plastic free. Unfortunately for this latest shipment the cardboard box is shrink wrapped in plastic :P Hopefully the marketing department will see this as the absurdity it is and just ship it in the box.

This is honestly so bad I’m going back to aluminum deodorant. It lasted two hours and that’s being generous. It does smell nice, but it’s very subtle. This is only useful for someone who doesn’t sweat or have any natural odour.

Smells good but after two hours of putting on it smells like I’ve sweated all day and very strong stink.

Nice unique scent. Very effective deodorant. The packaging is unique and you will be pleased as heck if you're environmentally driven. But, you have to hold it tight to hold the actual stick in place as you push it up with your fingers, it's not a locked mechanism.

At first it seemed good, it smelled really good for the first few hours. After a while it didn't really hold up that good any more, I could smell my sweat after a couple of hours. So I switched back to Gillette.
