I was really excited about soft granola, and you can't beat these flavors. I started with the cherry streusel. Big chunks of cherries. I took my first spoonful and wondered, Hmm, what's that odd taste? I couldn't quite put my finger on it. Then I opened the macadamia nut bag, took a spoonful, and the taste was even stronger. Then it hit me: SOAP! Having experienced the Ivory and Irish Spring soap bars in my mouth numerous times as a child, the taste brought the memories back. And since two of the three bags tasted the same, I didn't bother opening the third.As usual, Amazon has a fantastic return policy. I was refunded the cost but told not to return the product. So it will become crow food later today. I hope they enjoy soap. They eat everything else, so I don't see why they'd be too picky with this. ### ⭐ Moldy - had to discard *by M***C on Reviewed in the United States on September 27, 2020* Three bags came in my order.. and all three of them had to go into the trash. When I opened them, there was mold all over all three of them (which wasn't immediately obvious from the window on the packaging). They had the same batch number and expiration date (2021), so I had to assume that it was a problem with that particular batch.I played with the idea of re-ordering just because it might have been a problem with that batch, but the fact that they were moldy with an expiration date of August 2021 was a turnoff by itself. YMMV. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Addictive Granola *by A***E on Reviewed in the United States on August 29, 2020* Toasted Oat Bakehouse makes my favorite granola, by far. It is soft, yet chewy, with a good mouthfeel. The flavors are delicious. All are equally good - Cherry Streusel, Blueberry Cobbler and Macadamia Chunk. Made with real nuts and dried fruit, you can't go wrong. You can eat straight out of hand, with milk, on yogurt or add to your favorite recipe.My only complaint is that they have signed up to the scam organization of the anti-science Non-GMO Project. The only ingredient that could be GMO is sugar. In fact GMO crops use less and safer pesticides and are better for the environment. Instead, the Non-GMO project preys on the agricultural ignorance of customers and pretends that it is better.
