Refreshing Idea in the Glutted Electrolyte Drink Market
One of my kids is a seventeen-year-old athlete who trains 20-30 hours per week. She has to stay hydrated and loves electrolyte drinks. She is also conscious of the ingredients she puts into her body. She was excited to try these Pure Splash packets. She is a pre-professional ballet dancer and is performing as the Sugar Plum Fairy in the Nutcracker next weekend, so this is tech week for her. She loves that these packets are mixed with water so she doesn't have to cart heavy bottles of pre-made drink to the theater daily.Testing it myself, I filled a shaker bottle with 12 ounces of water and then used ice to get it to 14 ounces. (I like my drinks really cold.) It took a while to get all the bits of powder blended into the drink, but the effort was well worth it. The flavor was great, and the sweetness level was perfect and natural tasting. The drink's sweeteners are stevia and natural fruit. For those who track intake, one packet is 27 calories. Here's where the product innovates: it has little bits of fruit. I absolutely loved this, and I didn't think I would like it. Every so often you get a tiny lil bite of sweetness. The fruit rehydrates as you drink it, and the bits stayed nice and crispy. If you let the drink sit overnight in the fridge, the bits soften up and are more like soft pieces of fresh fruit. Personally, I preferred them a bit crispy, but even after two days in the fridge, the prepared drink was still delicious; the fruit never got gross.Room for improvement: · Serving size. The directions state to mix with 14-16 ounces of water. My daughter and I found this to be a little too weak for us. We found 12 ounces to be ideal. · Doesn't dissolve super readily. I recommend using a shaker bottle or at least a transparent cup so you can see if you've dissolved it all.I ordered this product for my daughter, but I really enjoy it too, and will drink it myself and repurchase. I hope this drink takes off. It's delicious, made in the USA, super high quality, and is an innovator in the market.Note: Drink is not super compatible with straws.P.S. If you're someone who enjoys boba tea, you're pretty much guaranteed to love it.

Unique with a good flavor
You get one resealable bag with 15 tear open packets inside. Each packet says it is recommended for 14-16 fluid ounces of water. It took a bit of stirring to dissolve, but I found the end result to taste nice. It wasn't sandy, gritty, or grainy. One thing to note is there are mint leaf pieces inside, as well as small slices of lime. Flavor wise it tasted as described, a sweet lime flavor with a hint of mint, which I would hope to be the case with actual mint and lime mixed in. The flavor wasn't too strong or weak to me; I don't usually drink flavored water. The small mint leaves I didn't have a problem with, but the lime slices were a bit chewy and tough for something to drink, maybe if left in the water longer they would soften up more.

Tasty drink mix...but expensive
Drink mix is tasty but also kind of bland. The first time I tried it, I just put it in a glass and tried stirring it. I ended up with a clump of it stuck to the spoon that just wouldn't dissolve no matter how much I stirred. The second time, I put it in a bottle and shook it. This gave much better results. I also used less water the second time. Label says 14 to 16 ounces. I used 12 ounces the second time. This tasted better to me. The little pieces of fruit in this is nice. The fruit sets it apart from other drink mixes. I would get this again if it wasn't so darn expensive. As I write this, the price of this is $24.97. That comes out to $1.66 per packet. While this drink mix is pretty good, I can't justify that high of a price. This mix is tasty so I am still giving 5 stars.

sort of like flavored water
We avoid sugared drinks and my husband likes lemony ones, so I thought I would try this.If you mix it with the recommended amount of water, it's actually kind of weak. The sweetness is subtle. Most likely if you routinely avoid sugar, it may be sweet enough for you but its not as sweet as most sweetened drinks. The lemon slices were a surprise and, I though, a nice addition. But mostly it made me think of those water flavoring packets for people that want to get more water in but don't like the taste of plain water. This wasn't bad, but it wasn't super exciting either. Although personally, I like plain water. :-)

Mild flavor, don't care for the fruit
I like the novelty of the dried fruit pieces but in practice they're kind of weird. It ends up being floating bits that are not particularly appetizing. Flavor is ok, pretty mild overall. I appreciate the attempt at something new but not for me.

Subtle flavor with fruit chunks, not bad
This drink mix is a rather unusual one, as it has whole chunks of freeze dried fruit in it that reconstitute when you mix it with water. The flavor of the mix itself is quite subtle when mixed with 14-16oz of water according to the instructions. I find I like it better when mixed with a little less water to give it a more robust flavor. The peach and banana flavor definitely seems to lean toward the banana side of things. Most of the fruit chunks are banana, and it doesn't really have much of a peach flavor at all. It does contain stevia as a sweetener, but that's not an overpowering flavor like it is in some stevia-sweetened drinks.Overall, if you're looking for a healthy way to add a little flair to your water bottle and get you to hydrate more, these aren't a bad option at all.

Refreshing drink mix that is unique in the category
There is a lot to really enjoy about this drink. Low calorie, stevia sweetened, and something totally unique with the dehydrated lime and mint. I found the mix dissolved less easily than many of the gatorade/prime packets, but I don't think that is too unexpected with the solid dehydrated elements. It's not something that I can drink in a sports bottle due to the solids clogging the straw/mouthpiece. However, I think this is a great refreshing summer drink, or even a base for an adult drink. Overall definitely enjoyed this and would recommend as a unique drink experience.
