I bought it for my daughter who is in 4th grade. It will probably make it into her upper teens. It's perfect for her age. The top is big enough for a laptop. No real place to run a cord. The pencil drawer is misaligned. When I get the time, I will realign it with something a little more substantial. It's held to the drawer slider by staples. Nice size. Paper thin laminate. I bought the hutch as well. Similar in quality and construction. A few scrapes. The cork bulletin board is super thin. I'm thinking about adding more cork to it so a push pin will actually go in a bit.
