It's a very high gain, high contrast screen made from great quality fabric, and the felt border gives it a clean look. The grey version has insane color and contrast compared to other screens I've used. The trade off is the sweet spot, with the right setup the grey is fantastic for 2 people. Projector must be near viewing level but not dead on or you get hot spotting, and not too far away or you lose picture brightness. It remains highly visible with ambient lights around you as long as you are within the sweet spot. Excellent for 2 people in a 50" wide or so seating area from 10 feet away. For 4 or more people there will be rapid image brightness and contrast loss the further they are from center. Still fine for casual viewing. Get white if you plan on frequent group viewing, and grey if you want the best picture quality for 2 people.

I read a steamer does the job. It works, but you get what you pay for quality wise… it’s a bedsheet with the tarp grommet feature. The price gives it an extra star. Oh ya! Don’t expect a perfect rectangle.

Now, me and you both probably have either the Yaber K2S, K3, Nebula Cosmos 4K SE, etc in our carts;But spending $500+ for a brighter, better color and contrast, more usuable projector isn't always in the immediate interests of the typical consumer.By golly we got one with this! IT IS A USELESS PRODUCT!! DOES NOT SHOW A PICTURE IN AMBIENT LIGHT WHICH IS WHAT ALR IS FOR

For me this was easy to install, but I don't have faith that the adhesive on the Velcro will permanently stick to my wall, luckily it came with black thumbtacks that hold the stretched screen in place perfectly! What I love most is the highly reflective material shows a bright crisp picture during the day, it's not washed out at all and the grey material gives me a high contrast picture. This screen blew me away compared to my old white screen that is motorized, plus I get something permanently mounted. My old white screen is useless with any ambient light, and it's a quality product. If you can take your time with the installation, you will be amazed at how amazing the screen is! My wife and I definitely are new to the home theater game, and because of that we neglected a projector screen for a long time. Theyre expensive and we didn't understand just how much a difference it would make. But after a while searching, we found a screen that was within our price range and man if it made a difference! It effectively DOUBLED our budget projectors performance, contrast is better, colors are vivid, and even with the white version ambient light is greatly reduced. Would definitely recommend.I will say however, installation can be a project, and depending on your wall the adhesive is not great on the tape. I recommend when you attach the loop side of the tape to the wall, maybe just add a few nails to hold it down that way it won't show on or through the screen when you Velcro the screen back. Overall great product!

For the price of this versus other "ALR" options Such as the cinegrey line etc... It just made sense to try. If not you can rip it up and make a few "high-viz" shirts to hand out for the holidays.. anyway just know what you're buying and you'll probably be impressed. As long as your HEAD is super close to the light source (generally not possible for overhead installations... Not whonthis product is for) in my case I have a Wimius 700 lumen led projector that sits about a foot or so above my head. For this use it's perfect because this material really seems to want to reflect light directly back at it's source(this feature is why light from the sides or ceiling will be lessened. BUT if you have any light directly behind you or really between you and the screen... It's going to wash out the colors real quick!!! HOWEVER if you're that customer who just wants to get a lil more oomph out of their budget projector and you're sitting within about a 30 degree cone of dead center? You're gonna have a great time! The last picture is with windows open letting in lots of indirect light from the side. I did wind up building a frame for the screen and honestly this screen material reflects back enough light to actually look like a tv even in a well lit room (again, as long as all light sources are indirect and to the side of the screen...) I can't say enough about this screen!!!!

Wow what a difference, had been using white sheet material until picked this up, always had to make sure blinds closed to see clearly and with this don't have to worry as much. I saw some.complain about wrinkles, if you pull tight all dissappear. I chose to use included thumb tacks and had no issues with material. All n all great value and upgrade even for budget projector.
