If you have tough nails and especially if you suffer from in-growing toe nails, I find that you need good quality pliers to cut them properly and cleanly. Otherwise expensive chiropody treatment may be needed to correct the problems caused by poor clipping. This set of clippers arrived the day after I ordered them carefully packaged including a quality holding box, which is great service. Compared to my cheaper clippers that these will replace, I am delighted with the Suvorna alternative: Firstly they feel very well made with exacting tolerances. Made out of stainless steel there is no worry about corrosion which can happen with cheaper plated clippers (should the plating fail or wear in use). That also makes them more hygienic to clean properly. Unlike my previous clippers these are 25% longer being approximately 5.5 inches from blade tips to handles. That extra length makes such a massive difference because there is so much extra leverage on the blades. That makes it much easier to cut tougher nails painlessly and with more precision and with minimal hand force required. For those with weak hand gripping power, this advantage is I think especially beneficial. When it comes to precision instruments of this nature, I tend to think that you get what you pay for. I am delighted with my purchase and I feel confident that these clippers will deliver first class results for many years ahead. I paid £34 including delivery and consider that money well invested in a quality product. Update December 2014: After using these clippers regularly for over 3 years now, they remain in as new condition and they continue to cut my tough nails with ease. I am confident that these will be good for at least 20 years. I have noticed a couple of bad reviews which I find staggering and I wonder if they ended up with the same product as I purchased?

cut my big toe nails easily which had not been cut for 6 weeks found normal small clippers did my small toe nails better did not require the suvoma well satisfied

Found these easy to use and seem well made. But when I used them they did not cut very cleanly and left my nails jagged - maybe they could be sharper? Possibly someone else may find them OK with their nails.

What a good professional tool this is. I have suffered in pain for so many years with tuff hard big toe nails that tend to Ingrow. I have brought so many clippers etc I could have set up shop. I am left handed in most things and that oftens prove a hazard. But and this is a big but I'm now 69 and although I've worked in a trade most of my life health issues and age I've lost a lot of hand power and all these other cutters become hard to use. For me it's a case of applied pressure and that can be difficult. This product is so sharp well balanced and even slight hand pressure the nail cleanly and neatly files off. No more ingrowing toe nails tuff nails no problem no need to soak. It is well made smooth and very easy to use. Oh yes well worth every penny a very well made tool. Very happy man. Thank you.

Even tough it cuts perfectly! One day was left in the bathroom wet next day was found with rust.. it's supposed to be stainless steel. . I only used it once.. what a waist..

I've had ingrowing toenails for 50 years. 30 years ago, I bought a pair of clippers which saved me the cost of having professional treatment and they've done me very well. While doing some research on nail clippers for a friend, I come across the these clippers so I bought some to try, wow! what a good buy. I don't have small hands, but they're not large, and these clippers are just about the right size. They are easy to handle, give a good easy cut, and to me are "the best thing since sliced bread". The thing to be wary of, don't clip too quick, otherwise you'll find yourself cutting what you shouldn't. I am well chuffed with this product and pleased I bought it, especially at the price charged. Give it a try.

Please don't be misled by the marketing on this product. It is very poorly made and finished . It is marketed as a quality, professional item, but the finishing on the box joint is rough and the cutting surfaces are blunt which is dangerous for an item such as this. The place where it is made is not in the item description but is on the box and it states that it is made in Pakistan, which says it all really. I requested a refund but got no reply, and am now stuck with a useless implement. Dont buy this. Buy a Dovo made item from Germany.

Ottime, riesco persino a tagliare di netto del multifibra da pesca che con i normali taglia unghie non riuscivo a tagliare, molto ben rifinite, si vede che sono fatte a mano per via di alcune imperfezioni, abitando davanti al mare cercavo un prodotto che arrugginisca difficilmente, vedremo.

un peu deçu plus petit que je ne pensais par contre coupe tres bien.fais son boulot pour le coup mais qd meme un peu leger pour des gros doigts de pieds bien fournis en ongles epais et durs.....
