I am now being chased by a debt collection agency because Dela-Fee Addison of VARIDESK has not paid FedEx the charges to import this to the UK - do not accept the headline price because the charges are considerable - around £80.

Found the chare not very stable for a 6'3" 250lb individual like myself.

I have a standing desk and I bought this because it has a high rating for that purpose. It helps to provide relief instead of standing all day, but it's not idea to stay sitting in for long periods of time. It gets very uncomfortable after about 30-40 minutes.

I'm post lumbar surgery and was advised basically to sit as little as possible. I'd previously converted to an adjustable standing desk, but now I'm standing 100% of the time (8+ hour desk job). I purchased a nice standing mat that helped, but every once and awhile, I just need a rest from standing. I have other Varidesk products and after researching I tried this one. As other reviewers have noted, the seat is firm - if you want to sit as much or more than you stand, this isn't for you. But after standing for a couple of hours and you just need a brief respite, this seat does the trick. I don't lower it to sit often, I use it to lean (see photo). I really like the swivel and leaning features - they offer a nice balance; not too loose, and not to rigid. The base lifts slightly when I lean back, but I never feel insecure - it's a solid chair. It's a pricey chair, but I like the sleek, modern look. There are other chairs that probably would have worked fine, but I wanted this to look nice since it replaced my desk chair. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

I was concerned about this chair, but decided to gamble on it anyway. I have a Varidesk standing desk, and I wanted to be able to "lean" on something from time to time when standing.My concern is that my back would hurt and would take a long time to adapt. This concern was heightened when I first opened the chair, due to the fact that the shortest height was way taller than I expected.However, my concerns were unfounded. The lowest setting is very comfortable, even though it's taller than I expected. I simply raised my Varidesk a couple notches, and it works great. I love being able to lean back on this when standing, and it has increased my standing time already.It is a little to adjust to, but not nearly as bad as I thought. I really like it now, and it hasn't even been a full week.
