Colour definitely didn't look grey
Ordered the grey and it was more like a light brown against the grey duvet

Make sure you have got the right measurements
I had to take up valance, but not a problem.

Only problem I have with this is that the valance is not seperated ate bottom corners and the single bed I'm using it for has a baseboard and gathers up over that.
