The liner resembles a black woven tarpaulin you'd find covering a lorry. It is tough and needed scissors to cut it, It went into my existing pond surprisingly well and confirmed smoothly to the existing contours. This well priced liner and underlay was easy to install and my fish look great. IF it had been in white I think it would look even better, buy once it gets covered in a layer of algae, I doubt it would matter. Looking for a pond liner, then don't hesitate! Liner fitted quite well once we got it in the actual pond bit fiddley to manoeuvre as it as pliable as a rubber liner but did the job ok once it was in place and fitted. Definitely needs two people to get it into place. Bonus is it comes with two pieces of underlay to place in the pond before liner goes in.
