Cheap, functional & great battery life
For the price and size I'm essentially looking at this as a replacement for a Jawbone UP or Fitbit. Excellent battery life coupled with being waterproof, integrated heart sensor plus small size, being the key plus points here in addition to simple, straightforward core functionality.Charge time from the battery being completely dead to full is two hours - initial setup was completed within a few minutes after downloading the official Mi Fit app (there's third party options available), creating a new account and syncing the band. There's no official sync support for MyFitnessPal, but you can get around that by syncing some of the data (such as steps) to the likes of Google fit first.Step count has proven to be comparable to the readings taken by other wrist-based bands - most users will accept that there's sadly always going to be a margin of error when it comes to measuring steps through movement of your arms (driving's generally something that's proven to artificially inflate the figure across each of the brands I've tried thus far). In some hours it measured more than a wrist-worn fitbit, and in others slightly less - over the course of a full day wearing both they both came out with just 50 steps of a difference between each other. They could both be very wrong, but given that I was happy with what the fitbit was telling me before, I'm happy with what's being reported here too. The heart sensor has reported exactly what's detected by the sensor on my mobile, although if you're after accuracy it's important to note that neither give as good a result as a Polar chest monitor - during exercise the latter is the only one that gives accurate 'live' readings throughout.Battery life appears to holds true to their aim - the first day went down much more than expected, but then I was constantly syncing to it trying different elements. For the most part I use it without a live bluetooth connection (I'm not one for notifications) - using it as a step and sleep tracker only comes in at around 5% battery life per day. Adding a constant heart rate monitor (set to 30 minutes, although you can increase this again) brought this to around 8% per day - more than acceptable from my viewpoint. Band and tracker's coping with showers without an issue.I paid £26.80 - zero quibbles at that price.tracker size - 4.5cm x 1.8cm (1cm height)strap is approximately 24cm end to endcharging cable's around 15cm end to end (roughly 9cm actual cable length, allowing for the tracker dock and usb connector)Model XMSH05HM

Probably the best sports tracking device I have ever used (simple and with the unofficial app) give me all the statistics I need). I have had so many devices and they all promise so much yet give me what I really want. This is so simple and along with the app gives me that!

It's not waterproof.
It's a shame that the return window closed after a month. After 6 weeks of use it has leaked, there is condensation inside the screen and the ability to move between screens is limited. Think the Miband 2 is a better buy. It's a shame. I was happy with the 2 but upgraded to the 3 only because of the additional waterproofing for kayaking and swimming. As it is the only exposure to water it had was in the shower. Complete waste of money.

Impressive battery life!!!
The battery is just amazing! It lasts for weeks with Bluetooth always on! I had to charge my old fitness tracker every 5-6 days without it being connected to Bluetooth all the time. I didn't like the design at first but now once I got used to it, I actually really like it. It looks smart with business outfit. I don't think it counts steps accurately as sometimes it adds steps when I'm e.g. brushing my hair but compared with Fitbit and it didn't actually count as many steps as Fitbit overall. You get what you pay for - can't complain. I'm on my second charge now and everything is working perfect. Touch screen is responsive and easy to use. I like the feature where you can view your recent notifications. Useful when you're on a meeting and can't use your phone. Weather forecast is a nice bonus. Overall 5 stars. Very happy with the purchase!

Great tracker with lots of neat features
Really great fitness tracker. Touch screen with many options is a bonus so you don't need it constantly linked to a phone. Impressed with the long battery life and the waterproofness. Can't fault it at all!

Good fitness watch
Battery charge does not last anywhere near as long as the myfit2, and I don't like the myfit app. Once it's set up I think its great!
