I distributed it thickly along my curb and on it and the bushes, and watched multiple dogs pee in the area I had treated hours earlier. It does have a strong smell, but it didn't deter any dogs, it only deters me by the smell I guess. Don't purchase this product.

In my experience, this is the only product that keeps my dog from digging in planted areas. Sprays do not work, and there is enough in this bag to last through several applications. He will still walk through the areas, but he does not dig and seems more likely to seek other places to hangout instead of in the bushes. The best price is through Amazon.
