Two pistons and a big pad clamp like a vice and don’t let go. We’ve got a great downhill park in our area and even on the longest twistiest switchback section there is zero fade and easy modulation with minimal finger pressure. Review: Easy install, huge upgrade over stock disc brakes - Bought this as an upgrade to the stock brakes on my Specialized Camber Comp Pro 29". The Formula C1 were always basic disc brakes and I knew there were much better options out there. After reading various reviews I decided to go with the Magura MT7 Pro disc brakes with the matching rotors. If you follow the YouTube instructions on how to install without having to bleed it will go super smooth. Make sure you take your time and are working in an area where if you drop something you can quickly find it. Make sure you have all the parts you need if your factory brakes and shifters are integrated. I was able to use the existing caliper adapter on the Maguras so that saved a little money. Once I switched out the rotor and the brakes I took it around the block for a quick spin. I can say just right off the bat they are a huge upgrade. They have a better feel to them and definitely have stopping power. Can't wait to break them in a little more before I hit the local trails.
