Lengthy, but I hope this helps somebody!I have dry/combination acne prone skin with texture. I’ve tried many different kinds of skincare. I’ve eased into them, waited in between trying new products as well as simplifying my routine, I change my pillowcase every/other night, use a bonnet, drank more water, eat way less sugar in comparison to over a year ago. But hormonal acne from getting off birth control and stress makes it very difficult to clear up my skin.When I tell you I found my holy grail products, I did.This here is one of them! Gentle exfoliation and hydrating. This product makes my skin feel supple after every wash.I was looking for products with centella (this face wash), panthenol and ceramide which is great in rebuilding and preserving our skin barrier.I’ve switched over most of my skincare in the first week of may, it is now mid June and these are my results.I was about to start adapalene and benzoyl peroxide, so I did my research and a TikToker (sorry I don’t remember who) recommended most of these products for people with my skin type that started on the adapalene and benzoyl because those products will dry us out. I ended up not using the two mentioned above because rebuilding my skin barrier saved my skin. Shout out to her 😭I eliminated most of my active ingredients that tackled texture and clogged pores (aha, bha, pha). I’ve also had 2 spicule peel facials to help me tackle texture as well as the other benefits that comes with it.
