They are airtight, very robust and easy to clean and disinfect. The price is pretty good to though that was a secondary consideration. They stack OK in the corner of the kitchen as well. The seal is tight, I mean really tight, and a little awkward to reseal. Which is kind of good, as you feel it is doing its job properly. I fit a 16kg bag of flour into them with room to spare. I like baking bread.
