0 stars ...... system looks nice, goes together easily. BUT wait I have been trying to purchase several repalcement nozzles ....... normal wear and tear item After several days of painful live chat. The company is now saying that they do not even make this mist system. After which the chat goes dead!!Hey AMAZON dump this crap.!! If the system wasn't a year old I would return it.

Misting my hobby greenhouse - not!
I bought this system through Amazon in late September/early October this year and installed it with a humidistat to humidify and cool my 12 by 8 foot green house. It's still hot here in south Georgia in September so the system ran frequently during the heat of the day. By early afternoon each day, the motor would sieze up on the Fresh Fog. After several attempts to get help from the Fresh Fog customer service folks, their solution was to send me a new GFCI electrical plug that I could install myself. I've tried running it on a timer instead of a humidistat. That works out better but the motor still siezes if I run the Fresh Fog for more than a couple of minutes at a time more than four times during the day - and then not reliably. Then the filter started leaking. I had water everywhere. I had to buy a replacement filter and now some of the nozzels are dripping which means that I have to turn the water off every night. I bought this system because I thought it would be easy for someone with my limited mechanical skills to set up and that it would not require a lot of my attention to use. I have spent numerous hours trying to stabilize the system and it isn't. If I knew then what I know now, I would have bought the parts for a real misting system and hired someone to help me install it.I'll keep the Fresh Fog for the grandkids to play with when they come for their Summer visits and get a reliable misting system installed before next year's hot weather sets in.

Worked as per design
I give this product a 4 star rating. Easy installation, worked as design, and has provided a summer of cooler temps in the Arizona heat. It was a big hit at our parties, and everyone was pleased that we had installed it. No more drips like the old low pressure system.

Great Cooling System
The package arrived on time and in perfect order, no parts were cracked or worn. The unit was purchased with the intent of using it to supply cool mist in a 20' x 30' cabana tent during the hot Labor Day weekend. The unit was easy to setup (less than 30 minutes from unboxing to up and running). I had a few minor leaks with the supply side water (water coming out the hose threads leading to the pump), but nothing a little Teflon tape and a wrench couldn't fix.The pump worked perfectly. It ran for several (7-10) hours a day (all weekend long) without a problem. It was shut off at night when the sun went down and the temps cooled off. I moved the pump a few times a day to keep it out of direct sunlight in order to avoid a possible overheating issue (not to say that this is a problem, but I didn't want to risk the possibility of it happening). The high pressure side (where the misting nozzles are) ran perfectly. The only concern I had was a few of the "U" clips started to slide out a bit (didn't come out all the way) due to the vibrations (I noticed this on day two). I used the provided zip ties to keep them in place and the problem was solved. Some water did drip out of the nozzles after the pump was shut down, but was easily solved by shutting off the supply side water (which provides time for the misting nozzles to bleed off the high side water pressure) and removing the end plug to drain the water from the line after the pump was shut down for the night. The reason for this dripping "issue" (as some would call it), is because the pump is a gear type of pump and will not drain the output pressure (like a centrifugal pump would). The nozzles will bleed off most of the pressure, but that takes time and results in the "dripping" once the pressure drops down below a certain point. Simply removing the end plug and draining the excess water solves this issue quickly. To summarize: No issue encountered was more than a 30 second fix away from being solved.

Discontinued Item
According to the manufacturer this is a discontinued item and replacement parts are not available. Too bad, the one I received appears to be well constructed.

Wow...Just Wow...Negative Reviewers...Baa..Hum..Bug
If you don't bleed the air from the machine...the motor will not "sieze" but rather...shutoff.Never run the motor without fluids in the system. Even when it has been running...if not bled...then air pockets may effect it. Bleeding the system is so important, they designed an easy access, readily viewable, simple valve to do so.I just received this, set it up on my patio in about 1.5 hours. After learning the few things mentioned above...it ran wonderfully.I just sat their in amazement on my patio for 4.5 hours...enjoying the coolness.I don't know how long it will last....but on first review...I'm pleased. All components seemed to be of first quality. Not like other things I recently bought and returned from Amazon which were made in China. Thanks.
