Among the best handwarmers I've had
I love rechargeable hand warmers, and I now own several sets. I've tried everything from lightweight ones that don't last very long, to higher-end ones. And I've had some favorites over the years, but these are my new favorites.Let me start by explaining why I need hand warmers: I have Rheynaud's Syndrom which is a condition where circulation gets cut in my hands and feet when it gets cold. Normal people still get gold hands. But for me, it causes discoloration, and it can be painful. Before I get into why I like these, let me start by explaining the common problems I see on a lot of these:1. Most come with two halves where you can either use them together, or split them: one for each hand. Split is how I imagine most would use them, but almost all do not get warm on the back (magnet) side. This means that when you palm a half and close your fist, one side is not warming up. You're constantly flipping them around to keep all parts of your hand warm.2. Most are held together with either a magnet or a physical connection. Most often, the magnets are either very weak, meaning the parts separate too easily. Or they are very strong, making it difficult to separate them.3. Shape does really matter. Most seem to be an appropriate size. But some simply aren't a shape that feels comfortable in the hand.4. Some require you to charge one at a time. There are many that come with a Y cable, but not always.5. Size of battery is a factor. There are some lightweight ones that don't last very long. If you need a longer charge, they get heavier. But it's a fair tradeoff in most cases.I have none of those concerns with these.1. While the flat part of these doesn't get warm, it's a significantly smaller surface area compared to others. The more handle-bar like shape of these gives me about 80% of the circumference that heats. And they are large enough for my hands to wrap around them. They are also long enough that they extend slightly beyond my palm. So I have nearly full coverage, and I am not flipping these around nearly as much as most of the others. This is by far the best feature for me.2. The magnets on these are strong. But because of the shape of these, I can very easily twist these apart pretty easily. So these are strong and stay stuck together very well, but they aren't difficult to break apart.3. This isn't the prettiest of shapes, but it's functional. They feel almost like those spring-loaded grip-strength devices, but no spring and they don't push apart. It does feel comfortable in the hand.4. These are supplied with a Y-cable so you can charge at the same time from a single block. Again, this is getting more common, but glad it isn't missing from this set.5. Ok, these are on the heavier side, but they are among the longest lasting of any hand warmer I own. Even so, they aren't so heavy as to be a nuisance, and you won't really feel their weight. Each is only about a quarter pound. But with a 10,000 mA battery, these last most of the day (published time is 18 hours on the low setting, which eclipses my second best at 12 hours. So if you have need for hand warmers, these are among the best. These are simply my new favorite, because of the comfort and because of how long they last. Again, they aren't the lightest, but they really last forever, and they're quite durable. A complete win in my book.

Great set of hand warmers!
My hands get cold easily in cold weather, but I live in the deep south where we have about ten minutes of winter each year. The fact that these double as individual 5000mah power banks and can be used to charge other devices, means they make sense to keep on hand year round anyway.I don't know how long these are supposed to last, but I charged them up and then ran them on the lowest setting for five straight hours, and they still had sixteen percent each left on the batteries. If I were actually using them to warm up, I think I would probably be using them intermittently, and they'd last much longer that way. I doubt I'd ever need to use anything higher than the lowest setting here in our climate. In case anyone else was wondering, the instructions say not to use them while charging them. They are comfortable to hold, and are a really good balance of size. Too big and they are a pain to carry around. Too small and they won't cover enough area or warm you up as easily. These also do a really good job of warming your hands, even when separated. The battery percentages did not stay in sync the whole time during my test run. They varied pretty wildly for about an hour before the one caught up with the other and they were in sync again.I'm not sure why the black ones are a good bit cheaper than the other colors, but for some reason they are at the time of this review. I really like these, and I'm thinking I'll order another set or two to have on hand for power outages, as I can use them to recharge lights and fans.Full disclosure: God and Amazon have smiled on me and given me this product for free. While I am very grateful for it, I do not let free stuff sway my reviews, which are my honest opinions, painstakingly formulated into multiple run-on sentences, as if I'm getting paid by the comma.

Great idea! Two items in one
When I received my order for my hand warmers, I found one was on 67% and the other 71%. Usually when you receive a new item they are at least half charged. These are rather large and wouldn’t fit in women’s pants pockets easily. On the bottom of both of them there is a rubber flap, this is where you can charge them and or use as a power bank. This was a great feature for me. You could keep them with you all the time even in summer months if you needed to charge your phone. There is only one button on each of them. If you touch it once it shows the battery life. You have to long hold it to turn them on and the same to turn them off. Once they are on, you touch the button one time to change the heating level, so 4 clicks get you to L4. I didn’t feel that 4 was much warmer than L1 but maybe because it is it real cold here at the moment. The listing stated it takes approximately 3 hours to fully charge them. When charging them you have to plug both of them up, and there is a flashing green light that indicates it’s charging. I did test my iPhone to see if it would charge it and the charging symbol appeared on my phone. After 5 minutes my phone went up 1% and the hand warmer lost 3%, so it would take a bit to charge your phone but in an emergency it would be better than not having anything to charge it with. They come with a charging cord and 2 lanyards that you can attach to them, which I doubt I would use. A strap with a carabiner to hook on your belt loops or ski coat would have been nice for those of us with short pockets. I would have really liked to seen a small bag in the box to store them in as well. Maybe in the future they will add some things. If I have any issues with these I will update this review.
