This is the second time I have purchased this Remington hot brush. I bought the first one eight years ago and it finally failed. Having looked at the alternatives on the market I bought this again because of the design. I have short wavy hair with a tendency to frizz. The well spaced, long, sleek plastic bristles work with my hair. It creates volume and smooths my hair without completely straightening it. It is light and easy to use on dry or damp hair and works abroad in Europe and USA.

Good ol' Remington! You never disappoint!After purchasing and returning similar products by other providers, (some products didn't do what they claimed, others stopped working about a third of the way through the guarantee limit and some didn't work to begin with) I'm delighted to say that at last, I've found the hotbrush for me! Why?1. I have arthritis in both hands and wrists, making gripping painful. The hotbrush is light and with the handle slimmer at the point it meets the barrel, it's easy to hold at all angles.2. The barrel heats up quickly and can be used on wet hair in sections until completely dry and curled/straightened.3. Barrel circumference is ideal for both short and long hair and doesn't tangle the hair.4. Even though this brush doesn't have an automatic revolving feature, the cord has a swivel joint at the base of the handle which prevents the cord twisting.5. The soft nylon bristles are so much kinder to hair than the hard bristles on other makes. My hair actually shines after use!6. I worked for Remington twenty years ago, so I know the lengths the company goes to in design, construction and testing. I'm confident that just as my other Remington products, this will work for many years to come!

I bought this as it can be used at 110v as well as 240v and I needed it to take on holiday instead of my usual hotairbrush. It acts very differently than a hotairbrush as it is just the barrel that gets hot. But I was very impressed with the way it works! Just rough dry your hair then use this brush to style it into shape. It gives your hair shape and volume. You can use it in-between washes to re-style your hair BUT it did dry my hair out doing this and damage the ends of my hair as it pulls if there is a bit of a tangle. I think it is better to use it on the lower of the two settings when re-styling in-between washes. I wash my hair either daily or every other day. I think this is a great product but care needs to be taken that it does not heat damage your hair. It's impossible to find a hotairbrush that can be used at 110v so this was a very good alternative hair styler and I will use it sometimes at home too. There is a product review on Youtube for this item that shows how to use it which was what made me decide to buy it so take a look on there if you are unsure!

My favourite hair styler. I bought it as an easier to use alternative to hair straighteners. Needs a little caution when using around the ears, but I've burned myself much less often since swapping from straighteners to this hot brush. My mum loved it so much when she saw mine that I got her one too. Easy to use.

After a couple of months of use, I plugged this product in and shortly after heard a sizzling sound as I watched the product melt itself into oblivion. It also managed to burn the top of my dressing table before I could unplug it and get it outside on the grass. I’m just glad I was home and next to the product, otherwise the house would have burned down. I do not recommend this product.

This is one of the best hair appliances I've bought in a long while. My curly thick hair can be unmanageable at best but this helps to take the curls while keeping the volume.The only criticism is the on/off switch which is easy to catch when his g the brush.

I’ve got really fine flyaway tuggy hair and use straighteners but wanted something to curl the back as I’m hopeless. Got this today and used it and must say so far it’s great it’s a large brush 45mm but the release function is great no more tugs when unravelling the brush. Gives a lovely bouncy blow dry style. Would recommend
