Not very smooth
Good price for the large size, but it doesn't rotate very smoothly. Without a load, it would rotate freely for most of a rotation, but then tighten up at certain points. Not sure if one ring was out of round or some other problem. But when I mounted a 24" top to it (with double washers to make sure the top didn't rub against the outer ring), then put a 15 pound load on it, it doesn't rotate freely at all. I have to use two hands on the top to make it rotate.

Rugged!!!
Used this to build a rotating display rack for craft shows. Ideally, you need a mechanism that is approximately the same diameter as the load you're wanting to swivel. Craft show displays have to be able to be dismantled/assembled very quickly and must stand up to a lot of abuse. The weakest link is usually the swivel mechanism. This unit is VERY sturdy, and the price is great!!
