Q: I have 35 psi to my house already what will this pump boost the psi to and do I need a pressure regulator ?

I would recommend that you purchase a pressure regulator that it can handle 100 PSI pressure and can be set at about 50 PSI to your house side. I would recommend you purchase a 100 gallon pressure tank with an air bladder. The idea is to have your pump only come on for longer cycles and stay off for longer cycles. If you use no pressure regulator, you run the risk of blowing off pipes under the sinks and flooding your house. Good luck....Rusty

Q: How much water output per minute for grundfos MQ3-45

To the best of my memory it was 13 GPM. BUT, that is usually at the pump outlet with no plumbing connected. You will usually find once you connect plumbing pipes of any length to the pump the pressure and amps will go up on the pump head, and the GPM will start to.decrease. My pump serves my needs very well as to boosting my residential pressure from 35 PSI to 55 PSI, but you will need a pressure regulator for water supply to a residential usage. If you fail to use a regulator, you risk a static pressure of 100 PSI on your house plumbing, which could cause pipes to burst, and or compression fittings to blow off.

A 30 PSI Pressure Regulating Limiting Valve should be installed inline prior to the pump when used in situations where existing inbound water pressure is being boosted.
