When i first bought this i thought it wasn't going to be enough for my turtle cage but i was sooo wrong. After you soak it in water for about 20-30 mins it magically becomes a lot more dirt than you thought you had lol just make sure you dont soak more dirt than you can pick up in the bucket because it is very heavy

I love this stuff for my hermit crab tank. It is safe and keeps the crabs happy. It is incredibly easy to use, just soak it in your treated water (NOT TAP WATER) and then break it up and add it. You will want a 5:1 ratio of play sand and eco brick for your substrate. Make sure that it is also at least 6 inches. This is a great product, and if you love your crabs, you will use it often.

Always pleased with my eco earth purchase. Although it is more expensive than other sites

Not hard to mess this product up. It is your standard just add water substrate.

It was difficult to separate a small bit from the block, as I was only interested in hydrating a small amount for my hamster. But it is exactly what I was looking for and once it was dried out and fluffy my hamster loved digging in it.

We use this for our 5 snake and 2 gecko bio-active terrariums. Holds moisture well, easy to clean, convenient packaging for storing and use.
