Can the ethernet ports be used in bridge mode instead of nat mode? if so can they bridge traffic at a full 1gbps?

I don't know why you would want to set it up in bridge mode, except for maybe a 1ms reduction in latency for SIP calls, while slowing down your main networks traffic, via a new choke point. Also the reason you can't use this in bridge mode is it would require it's own IP Address, and your router would need one too, most ISPs won't let you use 2 IPs from the same connection. Now a bridge mode where it uses the same IP from your ISP is possible, but that would still be using some NAT for it's self and your router. If you attach this straight to your router and main network, bypassing this ATAs NAT firewall, you wouldn't be increasing latency by any noticeable amount, nor adding another choke point, and you won't be adding to a complicated mess of cables. If you just run an Ethernet cable from your routers LAN port to the Internet port on this, and it should work as long as you have its IP Configuration setting to be DHCP or Automatic, which should be the default. You may need to forward some ports in your router though, but the service provider your using should tell you if you need to and how to set it up and what to enter in. By the way I do not own one of these ATAs but have done a very high level of research on these types of ATAs, and have been working on Small Business/Large Scale Home IT networking for the past 4-6 years.
