Or even easier once you install the software and connect the charger (both of which are easy enough) you can do it via the software. the GPS signal picked up very quickly, and after a few minutes i had worked out most of the buttons and could understand the watch face. i tested it straight away with a long walk and it kept full signal all the time (despite being covered by my coat sleeve most of the time). Downloading the data into the software is literally a single click, and it displayed very nicely straight into a google maps section of the software. it also gave me a full breakdown of distance, duration, average and maximum speed etc. it also comes complete with heart rate strap which isnt currently of interest to me, but had I worn it I would also have had full cardio stats as well. it does everything that a runner/walker/cyclist would want i think; laps,split times etc. it seems comfortable to wear, although i havent been on a run wearing it yet. so why not five stars? well, despite a pop up asking me if I wanted to see my results in google Earth I have so far been unable to make this work (feel free to respond Ultrasport) - plus the instructions, despite being in "english" are a slightly querky translation from the original German, and to be honest it is easier to just work most functions out by trial and error. Finally, you only have the ability to upload the data to your program, not straight onto a website like with Garmin, Nike etc. however you do have the ability to export your data in standard formats so you could still subscribe to a website like mapmyrun and upload your data into it. In summary, if you are a serious club runner, or have more money than sense, then spend Β£200-Β£300 on another product.
