Roxel Pulse great product
Received this in Ireland from Amazon UK with next day delivery, Thank you Amazon! The Amp and speakers were well protected. the outer card box had some minor tears. Thankfully this had not penetrated the inner card box. inside this box the receiver and speakers were located within a hefty shield of foam packaging. The unit is very attractive in its gunmetal grey. The speakers are unassuming in a simple attractive finish, there are no grill covers supplied and that doesn't bother me at all. included in the box - a wire aerial and a telescopic aerial, which can be attached by a proper coaxial socket on the amp. Also included of course is a well functioning remote, clearly labelled with 2 cheap mercury cadmium batteries which I ditched in favour of some better quality alkalines'. The speaker cables are proper cables of decent quality not the usual thin rubbish so often supplied and they also have standard banana plugs too, well done Roxel! I find that hifi companies are reticent to detail accurate figures on speaker outputs in terms of Watts RMS and speaker impedance. I am still unsure of the RMS figures, but it must be pretty decent as the speakers are labelled as 4 ohms! this requires the amp to work harder. I had intended to fit my Monitor Audio Bronze (8 ohms) and may do in the future, but the sound from Roxel's speakers is very good. There doesn't appear to be any skimping on the quality there either. The connections are pretty good too, HDMI Arc, line in, headphones (oddly at the back!) Setting up was quick and easy. Connect the speakers, power supply and aerial and off you go. the receiver takes a couple of seconds to power up (initially) and then says log in to the displayed WWW address via computer or mobile device. I did this and it leads you to standard conditions of use, except there is no option to click to agree. its information only. Next comes the wifi log in. there are 3 options, as the unit is close to the router. I choose the push to connect on the router it worked perfectly, happy days! from then on you are presented with a number of internet radio options. select an option and it downloads connections. Next up is the DAB + section the autoscan works great & picked up the Irish & a good few Northern Ireland Stations, though not the BBC ones! I think they're on a different multiplex. If you're in the UK you shouldn't have this problem. I should point out that rather than using the supplied aerials a simple inexpensive internal dipole aerial (€10) which provides a much stronger signals as I am in a weak signal area for British/NI stations.. The FM scan & setup was easy and the RDS comes too. The BBC radio came in nice & strong, but the Radio 4 signal I always find weak and there was a soft background hiss. The software allows you to select mono/stereo for weak signals from individual stations. selecting mono banished the hiss, resulting in a very good R4 reception. Remember I am outside the intended reception area of UK radio stations. Oddly BBC R2 & R3 didn't have this issue. Connecting by bluetooth there was a slight hesitancy in initially pairing. I found that this was a similar problem with 2 other Roxel products, but it really isn't a problem they do pair and work just fine. I haven't tried the CD yet so I'll do an update later on that and the HDMI Arc connection. So how does it sound? Now I'm not a hifi expert, I noted that one review said don't expect hifi quality; but the system sounded great to me and the Wife's first comment was that this system sounds fantastic! So summing up I think Roxel knocked it out of the park on this one. A great product I would recommend. UPDATE Having run in the speakers over a couple days (something hifi buffs recommend) I love the sound quality. Listening to Sky Arts broadcast of Pink Floyd's Pulse concert, the sound quality is far better than the TV speakers, reveals clarity & detail not found from my tv. FM SOUND Listening to BBC Radio 4 this morning on the normal (flat) EQ setting the sound is delightfull, crystal clear voices with a lovely tonality. These speakers are really really good. Oddly I find that my local RTE R1 station broadcasts at a slightly lower volume & needs a nudge up, the tonality while very good doesn't quite match BBC R4. Onto R3, sound quality is good, so good I dont feel the need to adjust EQ levels. Switching to LYRIC RTE's classical station the sound quality is ever so slightly better, I wonder if it's a distance issue? Connecting the HDMI ARC connection and selecting HDMI on the remote silences the TV speakers routing the sound through systems speakers. If you wish to go back to the tv speakers select any other input than HDMI & the auto connection is closed. CD Quality There is no CD tray, offer up the CD to the slot & the Roxel auto feeds the CD. Decca's 'The Essential Mozart' plays faultlessly. Eine Kleine Nachtmusik is delightfull. Pushing up the volume a fair bit, everything holds together well, no sound issues at all. Volume control on cd's is very subtle there are no major jumps from one sound volume to another. I like that, that's not to say it doesn't play loud, it can. Moving onto Vienna, Midge Ure's volume range is well handled with exceptional clarity. The drum bass is sharp, never muddy. BLUETOOTH. via Amazon Music. Yello's 'Till Tomorrow' the driving bass is reproduced beautifully by the Roxel & Brönner's breathy horn sounds just great. 'Meet my Angel' is a good test of any sound system. The bass is handled well, as are Fifi Rong's beautiful lyrics. Overall this Roxel presents your music with aplomb. Heartily recommended

Roxel HiFi.
Great hifi for the money, far better than some more established makes, main unit and speakers are a gunmetal grey colour,cd,FM dab internet radio, usb, headphone socket, Spotify, etc, took some time to store radio stations did not press the program button for long enough, silly me,colour screen, with clock when in standby, sleep timer,2 alarms, you can wake up to radio,cd or buzzer, speakers are quite heavy, they sound great, all in all a fab music system at a great price, get one you will not be disappointed, looks fab in my man cave.

Cd,Dab+, Net radio with Bluetooth
Chose this for its radio inputs and Bluetooth. Really nice looking unit with simplistic facia. Source combinations are really impressive. Inputs could have been rca but uses 3.5mm jack. Clock when off is a nice touch. 100w should say 25w rms pc but it fails to drive my floor standers or the upper volumes gets a bit underwhelming. Sound is good for a small room, like a small bedroom. Not used the standard speakers so this will be different. Internet radio works easy just like the dab( even with the strip antenna. The alarm setting are a bit tricky if you want to just set it for 1 day, as you have to put the date in. Otherwise it’s easy for everyday. Bluetooth is quick and easy to connect and has a good volume. Overall it’s a really good piece of kit, just don’t confuse it for a hifi.

Great Sound For the Money , Looks smart to.
Very pleased as long as CD drawer keeps working , otherwise great sound , Internet radio a new experience for me 1000's stations including exclusive Kinks which suits me , Dab + great , fm not so good in weak signal area, telescopic aerial helps , don't bother with buying new aerial or leads as recommended , everything provided adequate , I did and its been a waste of money. After a few days had issues with CD skipping , had to return for refund , would like to order again as I loved other functions but reluctant ? What are other people's experience?

Good sound, good price.
Easy to set up, good sound quality, sets up DAB stations really quickly, Spotify works well with it. I also use the HDMI connection and ARC functionality and that works really well.

A fantastic music centre the sound from the dab radio to the cd player to the streaming from my mp3 player and from my turntable connected by bluetooth is just superb, and being able to do it all except put a album on by remote is just great, it arrived 3 days early and the questions I had were answered via amazon very quickly outstanding customer service I would highly recommend this music centre and this company absolutely faultless Thank you very much 👍 Having had this for a few weeks its still great the only thing really bugging me is that I now found it does not transmit bluetooth to my earbuds its really put a dampener on it. Can I add a transmitter to it add bluetooth
