The inside of the bag is large enough for a towel and clean clothes (including jeans), and it has 5 exterior pockets/pouches: two large pockets (one zip/one Velcro) are the width of the bag, 2 smaller zip pockets, which are about half the width of the bag (approximately 6"x6"), and an end/mesh pouch for a water bottle, or in our case, shampoo bottle.
