I used standard concrete with a splash of powdered color, and the finished piece released beautifully. No sticking, no weird air bubbles that ruin the proud face of freedom. The surface came out smooth and crisp, exactly like the sample photo promised. Pro tip: tap out your mix gently before it sets to chase away tiny bubbles, and let it cure fully before demolding. I got a flawless result on the first try, which is saying something because I usually have a 50/50 track record with molds. Would I buy it again? Absolutely. This eagle mold doesn’t just make a garden stone, it makes a statement piece worthy of a salute.

Ships from Ukraine. May take a bit to the US. Both molds I have purchased have arrived sooner than expected date. There is a lip around the casting that could be thicker. Which would make it thicker overall. The picture is a crack resistant concrete casting that I poured yesterday. Missed a bit on the release agent, but, this was just a trial run. Because this is tiered/contoured with no flat spots to sit flat, you will need to stabilize the corners(not a big deal). Overall, an excellent design IMO.
