Cracked heels normally mean athlete's foot - you may want to try an OTC foot spray for a month - keeping your hands away so you don't end up with it on your hand or in your nails (it takes forever to get it out of your nails if that should happen). **Q: Would refrigerating help to preserve the ingredients after opening?** A: I have used this wonderful product for 40 years!
