I have gone through way too many egg slicers. They break easily. This one is impressive. Sturdy feel and so far the wires are cutting nicely with no bending or breaking. I am very pleased.

Best egg slicer I’ve ever owned and I’m 78 years old so that is saying something ( lol)! If an egg slicer can be considered classy, this one is. Made out of a heavy metal with a soft gold coating. It is so sturdy and dishwasher safe. Works wonderfully…Thank You.

Great quality, sturdy. Easy to use and clean. Slices perfectly, the wire is thicker than other slicers which makes it so much sturdier. So happy with it I bought one for my sister. Highly recommend

The egg slicer I'd had for years finally died. I use one to make egg salad by slicing the egg one way, and then the other so I ordered a new one, but although it was heavy duty plastic, it quickly became difficult to use as the hinge would not stay attached. I finally decided to treat myself to a better one. As soon as I took this one out of the packaging I knew I would never need another. It is solid metal, the wires are taut, and the hinge looks like it will last a 100 years. I have only used it once so far, but was happy with the performance.

For reasons, I don’t understand, no merchant sells these in a store anymore. Not even a plastic one. This one was excellent and it’s bigger so, it cuts an extra large egg easily. It’s sturdy and I’m pleased with the results.

Unlike all the other slicers I've gotten in the past, this.one has held up well so far. I'm pleased that the tines haven't bent or become unusable. My only wish is that it cut just a little deeper...sometimes the eggs push through a little and don't get sliced for the last 1/8 of a mm. (I know, it's a first world problem. Lol

I’d hoped that being metal and sturdier than most, this would cleanly slice my eggs, separating the slices properly, but no!I’ve used far better plastic ones at a fraction of the price. The yolks stuck to the ones in front/behind making it impossible to get a proper slice that was in one piece.For the price, very disappointing!
