I usually find that lower priced skin care is just as good as the pricey stuff. However, I decided to try this product even though I was pretty happy overall with my No. 7 lift & luminate serum for fine lines. I was glad I did. This stuff rocks! It does an even better job overnight of erasing fine lines. Only a small amount is needed so the tube should last awhile.

Allies of Skin Retinal 0.05% review This product comes in an appropriate cosmetic box. The cream is in a tube and it has a pump on it to dispense the product. It is the first pump on a tube I believe I have ever seen. I like it but I do wonder when I only have a small amount of product left if it will be able to dispense the entire contents but I will just have to wait and see. This is a yellow cream. It goes on very easy and spreads evenly. It took a couple of pumps to do all my face and neck. The listing mentions that this product is a beginner strength of retinol and since I have used other retinol products for a couple of years I didn’t do a skin test as I usually do on new cosmetics. I have not experienced any negative effects of using this night cream and I do have sensitive areas on my face especially the top of my cheeks which are prone to burning and turning red and irritated looking. This is a new brand and new product for me. I have not used it long enough to see how it wears long term but so far I am pleased with how my skin is reacting to this cream. Since I have very mature and thinner skin I am more protective of what I put on my face every day and this is a product that is not causing me any issues and I am happy with this it and will be using the entire tube. My box had an expiration date of August 30, 2027 printed on the box. Below are the ingredients as copied from the box. This Allies of Skin Retinal & Peptides Repair Night Cream stands out in a number if ways. This appears to be a potent cream with effective ingredients such as retinal, hyaluronic acid, peptides, niacinamide, antioxidants and more. While I’m not an expert, I’ve read that retinal and retinol both provide essentially the same benefits, but retinal gives faster results as it’s a step closer to Retinoic acid. I have dry, sensitive skin and most products I’ve tried with any type of retinoid haven’t agreed with my skin. But, despite my sensitive skin, I’ve been able to use this Allies night cream on my face and neck regularly without any irritation or flakiness. This is a non greasy cream that I initially felt was rather lightweight for me as I normally use richer and thicker creams, hydrating essences and serums and facial oils layered at night. At first, I didn’t layer my products like usual as I didn’t know how my skin would react to the retinal. So, this cream felt a little unsatisfying in terms of the level of hydration. However, I started layering my other products (e.g., essence, serum, cream and/or facial oil) with the Allies cream, and my skin does end up feeling comfortably hydrated. I can’t yet judge the long term benefits of the Allies night cream, but my skin looks and feels great so far. Mostly, I notice it looks and feels more hydrated, and my skin texture feels amazing as it’s unusually soft. I also feel like my skin has a smoother appearance, so my lines look less noticeable. I’ve noticed other positive changes in that my skin is brighter and seems firmer. But I was starting to experience those benefits from consistent use of a new Vitamin C serum I had started weeks before the Allies cream. I’ve continued the Vitamin C serum while using the Allies cream and see more improvement, but I can’t say if it’s from the Vitamin C serum, the Allies night cream or (most likely) both. Love the Allies cream and will keep using it, but I always wear sunblock even when sun exposure is minimal. 5 stars.

I had high hopes for this cream, but I experienced very skin with it, so much that I had to buy another face cream to hell with hydration. Would not recommend.

I've been using this night cream for a while now, and I'm truly enjoying the experience. Each morning, I wake up to find that my skin feels incredibly soft and appears radiant, which is a wonderful way to start the day. While I'm still waiting to see any noticeable effects on my fine lines, I remain hopeful that consistent use will yield positive results. One thing I've observed is that I need to apply a generous amount, as it tends to absorb quickly into my skin. This might be necessary for optimal hydration, but it does mean I go through the product faster than I would prefer. Additionally, I find the price point to be on the higher side for a night cream, which makes me weigh its value carefully. However, if I start to see a reduction in the appearance of my fine lines in the coming weeks, I will gladly consider it worth the investment. Overall, I’m optimistic about its long-term benefits.

Allies of Skin is made in Singapore which isn't usually a country I consider for skin care products, but since many celebrities use this brand, I decided to try this Retinal 0.05% & Peptides Repair Night Cream. This has a lot of goodies in it. The scent is fairly subtle and I couldn't place it, but I think it is the p-Anisic acid, which is a naturally occurring compound found in anise, that is second to last on the ingredient list. This isn't too harsh for my normal but maturing skin, and I'm liking it so far. I am using it at night and the Allies of Skin Peptides & Antioxidants Advanced Firming Daily Treatment during the day.

Great start for a nighttime retinal (instead of retinol) product. Absolutely pleasant and effective. You cannot go wrong with this.

La crema la conosco già. mi piace molto il brand in quanto ha formule ben studiate e complesse. Di solito dopo un prodotto con retinolo/retinal va messa una crema molto idratante perché la pelle tende a seccarsi. Invece questa crema avendo già al interno altri ingrediente idratanti si può usare da sola come crema finale. Non ho avuto particolari problemi di secchezza e irritazioni anche cominciandola a usare tutte le sere senza periodo di inserimento poco alla volta come di solito si consiglia con il retinolo. Per i risultati bisogna usarla almeno alcuni mesi, è ovvio che non fa miracoli, ma migliora tanto imperfezioni, linee sottili, piccole macchie e cicatrici. Note negative 1. Arriva senza sigilo e non c’è garanzia sull’autenticità. Secondo me i prodotti di certi brand considerati di lusso, non possono essere venduti senza il sigilo di garanzia. 2. Ha un colore giallo e sporca un po’ la federa del cuscino. Nel complesso la ricomprerei- sperando che mi arrivi sigillata questa volta.
