These are a great deal for the price, they feel like premium quality headphones at a much lower price point. I really like that you can use them wired if need be (if you're worried about sketchy bluetooth connection on an important call). But I've had no issues with connectivity, the comfort is great, battery life is excellent. No complaints at all!

I bought these Edifier W800BT Pro headphones after trying another brand which hurt my ears. The features I was looking for are 1. Low latency (for video and audio sync while watching movies), 2. To be wireless and wired, 3. Lightweight and 4. Replaceable ear pads...these headphones ticked all 4 boxes. I have to say for the price they are quite good in comfort and sound quality...for me at least, as comfort and sound are subjective. Packaged quite well, it comes with an adequate user manual in English and a USB-c cable for both charging and wired mode. It also charges same time while connected to a PC or laptop. I watch movies with headphones at night, so as not to wake the whole house up. I tested the W800BT Pro's claimed 0.06m low latency when using in Bluetooth mode and it was very hard to tell if there was a video/audio delay unless you look really really close. I've had my Srhythm NC25 for over 6 years which are also low latency and it was on par with that. Of course when connected with the USB-c cable, there is no latency at all. To make sure you utilise the low latency, download the Edifier ConneX app onto your phone, connect the headphones to your phone then choose Game Mode in the app. The Game Mode setting will then be used even when you're watching movies on a PC, NAS or smart TV. Only slight issue I had was a clanking noise when talking or eating with the headphones on. The noise is due to the top part of the hinges hitting the flat surface of the headphones (see photos of what I mean). I managed to solve the problem by sticking 2 thin rubber pads on each side. My son tried them on and he didn't have that issue so it must be the way my upper jaw moves that it makes the headphones move in a way to create that clanking noise. So if you have the same issue, you could try my solution. Looks like a design flaw so it would be great if Edifier could put small pads between where the hinges and the outside of the headphones touch in future models. Did I mention the Edifier is very very comfortable too??? My ears are not too big but some of the other headphones I have tried have hurt my ears after about an hour of use. I have now used this W800BT Pro for 5 hours straight and my ears have not hurt once. That alone speaks volumes for me! Overall I'm quite impressed with these headphones and hope they will last as long as my Srhythm NC25 have. I'll be buying a spare pair of ear pads for these soon so they can last as long as possible.

If you Google budget headphones or speakers, one name will consistently come up, and that’s Edifier. However, Edifier has been a little hit or miss with me. I’ve tried absolute dud earbuds from Edifier and absolute banger headphones. The Edifier W800BT Pro headphones definitely is one of the latter. As usual, when reviewing audio equipment, I have to state that I’m not an audiophile in any shape or form. I’m just your average dad that appreciates good quality sound. The Edifier W800BT Pro headphones is a solid choice in a very competitive price point of around $50. I like to compare the Edifier to the Havit H655BT headphones because they both can be bought for the same price and both have the Hi-Res label. Trying to compare apples to Apples. The Edifier W800BT Pro headphones are lightweight and the earpads are soft and comfortable. Yes, your ears will sweat a little after some time, but I feel like that goes for almost any headphones. The headphones will fold inwards allowing it to fit most cases. One negative is that it does not come with a case. Another competitor, the T-fun NC35, does come with a hardshell case. The Havit H655BT does not. The Edifier feels a little snug and I do have a narrow-ish head. People with wider heads may find it a little tight. The controls are very easily accessible on the back right side. I find it a little too accessible at times and I end up turning off the headphones when adjusting the fit. Pairing the Edifer was a breeze. The noise canceling was a little iffy. At times it does a phenomenal job and other times I hear a slight white noise. One nice feature is that you can use a USB-C cable to use the Edifier as a wired headphone. The BT 5.4 works as expected with very little to no delay. Now what we’re all here for…sound quality. At this price point the Edifier W800BT Pro headphones are great sounding. The mids and highs are bright and accurate. The bass however is a little lacking compared to the Havit H655BT. Not that it doesn’t have any bass but it’s just a little muted compared to some of the competitors. It is a very clean sounding headphone though. The Edifier is not the most immersive headphones either. With that being said, most budget headphones are not the most immersive. The clean sound is definitely the strong point of the EdiferW800BT Pro headphones. While I did point out a few issues with the Edifier W800BT Pro, it’s still a very competitive headphone at the $50 price point. If you’re a bass head and love that booming bass, the Edifier may not be for you. If you like the tight and clean overall sound, the Edifier will excel. Shop around a bit and you’ll see the price drop from time to time. I’m definitely liking my Edifier W800BT Pro.
