Explore the transcendent world of unity and ultimate beauty in Edgar Allan Poe’s verse in this complete poetry collection. Although best known for his short stories, Edgar Allan Poe was by nature and choice a poet. From his exquisite lyric “To Helen,” to his immortal masterpieces, “Annabel Lee,” “The Bells,” and “The Raven,” Poe stands beside the celebrated English romantic poets Shelley, Byron, and Keats, and his haunting, sensuous poetic vision profoundly influenced the Victorian giants Swinburne, Tennyson, and Rossetti. Today his dark side speaks eloquently to contemporary readers in poems such as “The Haunted Palace” and “The Conqueror Worm,” with their powerful images of madness and the macabre. But even at the end of his life, Poe reached out to his art for comfort and courage, giving us in “Eldorado” a talisman to hold during our darkest moments—a timeless gift from a great American writer. Includes an Introduction by Jay Parini and an Afterword by April Bernard Review: If you are a fan of Edgar Allan Poe's poems you may want to check out this volume. - As someone well into their senior years and has been a voracious reader for more than 7 decades I have loved books from the scientific to the esoteric, and from the classics to poetry. This is why while browsing on desertcart when I came across this 142-page paperback (The complete poetry of Edgar Allan Poe) I decided to purchase it. Even though I have read all of Edgar Allan Poe’s poetry in the past; nevertheless, I decided to purchase this volume to reread his interesting poems. If you have not read a lot of Poe’s work you are in for a treat. This volume was a pure joy to read. If you a fan of Edgar Allan Poe’s poems you may want to check out this excellent volume. Even though I do love the Raven, (his most famous poem) my two favorite Poe poems are Annabel Lee and Eldorado Rating: 5 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: Season of the warrior: A poetic tribute to warriors). Review: Nice Book - Great Read

Cute little book
This is a tiny book, you can almost carry it around in your pocket. I take this everywhere and honestly for the low low price it has I definitely recommend this book. It has all the poems and its just fantastic.

Love the quality :)
I love love LOVE the quality of the book! Of course it’s used but it is good quality with sort of a worn look and it looks like it has truly been used by someone and loved by someone instead of just placed on the shelf. I really like it when a book kind of has history like that! I cannot wait to read it for my Junior English Honors class; it’s going to be one of the best reads, I can already feel it.

Wrong cover
Great price. It does feel like cheaper paper, but I was expecting that. I ordered several of these for an event. I was very disappointed as the book cover is not what is pictured on the listing (black and white with raven silhouette). It just would have looked much better with everything else we had displayed. If you click on the "Look inside," it shows what book cover you will get. Other than that, it is a good value for the price.

Bought this in 2017 five years ago and still love this poetry book
I bought this “entire poetry of Edgar Allan Poe” back in 2017 and it has been my favorite poetry book since. Though after five years of use when on trains, planes, Ubers, or just wanted to read my favorite poetry the pages have yellowed and the poetry I read the most have been read so often then pages are falling off. Nothing a little glue won’t fix, and gives it a little character. Not bad for something I only paid $3.27 for at the time.
