It responded well to the hand commands, and connecting it to the bluetooth remote was easy and fast.It comes with everything you need to play with it right out of the box They give you a screwdriver to open the remote battery's cover. And it comes with the batteries. They include the charging cable for the robot itself. My curious third grade neice loved the music it played and she enjoyed trying and learning all of its functions.The demo mode is nice because it gives you an overview of all its cute and entertaining abilities . The instructions are clear and easy to understand. When you charge it the instructions say the lights will be red while charging and green when its fully charged. That is true, but know that its the lights on the charging cable itself that turn red to green, not the lights on the unit itself.

The remote is easy to work, and even my 2 year old has learned how to press the directional buttons and the demo button. It makes cute little sounds and is fun to play with! So far the quality seems to be great, and it’s very lightweight which I enjoy. There were multiple color options, but I went with blue and yellow which is really cute in person.
