I received this item via the vine programme and here is my honest and unbiased review.This hat arrived so completely vacuum packed that I am actually quite amazed at how lovely and fluffy and warm it is once the air is allowed back in!!A very nice Hat, lots of warms and draft protection. I love the face mask and the front flap that can be folded down for extra protection. A really great hat for those incredibly cold days to protect you not only from the cold, but also the wind and rain and the overall chill.The price of £12.99 is excellent!I would recommend this!5 stars!

I ordered this for my daughter who is enrolled on a beginners skiing course at an indoor winter sports facility.The temperatures are a freezing -4°c and she was expected to provide her own suitable clothing for the lessons.This hat is lined with fur on the inside, with an outer waterproof material.It has a velcro fastening around the chin and neck area.The face covering is attached by press studs, and is fully removable.The hat retains the body heat which is lost from the head, and protects the ears, nose and mouth from the cold air and prevents getting chapped or developing frost bite.I ordered this as it is a beginners course and there is no guarantee my daughter is going to enjoy this activity.So before I go and splash out on some expensive skiing attire, this is a suitable but cheaper alternative for her to wear whilst she is deciding on continuing the course or not.It is a generous size and is a good fit for an older teenager or adult.Suitable for a male or female.

This GIONAR trapper hat with ear flaps and detachable mask is well made and practical.The inside is a soft fur-like material which makes you very toasty. The outside is a waterproof and windproof material and it all seems very well constructed.This will be ideal for my Winter steam train adventures to combat the cold when standing on outside train balconies or window-hanging.At the time of review, this was priced at £12.99 such represents great value for money.

This sort wraps your head up in a great big warm hug.The inner lining is soft and very comfortable. There is a reasonable amount of padding to keep you warm - it could perhaps be a little thicker. The outer layer is a synthetic layer - this looks to be waterproof.The front flaps separately protect your neck and mouth/cheeks to keep the chill off. They work with velcro and press studs respectively.The fit was more or less perfect for my larger size head - I normally have a 61-62cm size and this seemed to provide a close and comfortable fit.Highly recommended.
