2022 vs 2025 solium
The camera works great. I have purchased 5, but you changed their features each time I bought one. The purchase data service instead of a Wi-Fi connection. It’s not bad, but I would have preferred our Internet connection. The other three that I have have Internet connections. The previous three I bought had Wi-Fi. It does have a better picture. The camera works much better than the first three, but the cost for the Internet service is kinda costly. Other than that, it’s a five-star night vision, which is excellent. It was easy to set up, and the battery, well, I don’t know. I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks, but the solar system seems to be lasting for a while.

Waste of money great batting practice
It would not let me make a negative star so the one star review is too much but you have to put something on there pretty sad in my opinion we can’t even properly rate these items to warn other people .Buyer beware do not waste your money. They work great if you’re willing to pay their extremely overpriced monthly plan extremely glitchy even then they are impossible to connect to Wi-Fi even though they say they can connect to Wi-Fi. They have no customer service no phone number absolutely biggest waste of money I have ever spent Stay far far away. I have been fighting with them for so long. They just want to keep you paying for their monthly plan. So after a year of frustration, I finally just knocked it off the post with a baseball bat that was worth the money.

Decent camera but poor instruction book so figured it out through trial and error
I ordered the camera to watch my cabin in Oklahoma, so I didn't energize it until I got up there the following month. I didn't want to use up my free 30 day data plan. When I opened the box and went to energize the camera, the instruction manual and the quick start guide didn't really give the same instructions so I was not sure how to really set it up. I was supposed to watch for a green light which I never did find. I eventually got the camera energized and mounted on a tree facing the cabin. I downloaded the app to view the cabin and get notifications of activity. At first, I was getting several notifications per day (and the activity was shadows from the trees that were moving but then did not get any notifications, even when I walked in front of the camera. Not only that, my 30 days of data expired after 6 days so I had to pay for one month of data, which did last a month. When I got my credit card statement, it listed a charge to PPU UBOX in Hong Kong. I got concerned until I figured out it was for the data renewal. The charge was not listed as Solium. The camera takes good pictures in day and night vision and will move left and right and up and down. The little solar panel keeps the battery charged even during cloudy days. My personal cell phone is Verizon and up where the cabin is, I can get 3-4 bars. The security camera was only getting 1 bar or no signal at all so there were many times I could not view the cabin. I tried contacting customer service and got a standard one-size fits all email as a reply. There is no phone number to call. I eventually got an answer to which cell network the camera was using (ATT) and I found that there was 2 ATT cell towers withing 4 miles so I should have a better signal. I thought maybe the metal roof of the cabin was blocking the signal, so I removed the camera from the tree and moved it over about 40 feet and set it on the ground and proceeded to get 3 bars. I then mounted it to another tree but only get 2 bars. Two is better than one so I may leave it or move it at some later date. The camera, besides having cloud storage, also has an SD card which captures all the activity and has to be purged periodically.Once I realized how everything kind of works, it's not a bad camera especially for the price. It was just frustrating getting to that point, but it seems a lot of products nowadays have really bad instruction books.

Good solar 4g security camera
I reside in a very rural 10 acre heavily treed property. My driveway gate 300 yards from the residence. My only option was a 4g solar security camera. The challenge was getting a decent cell signal. The original camera I tried had short antennas and I barely got a single bar on the cell signal. I noticed the S600 had larger antennas so I tried it. Although not getting full bar signal I get 2 or 3 bars enough to use the camera effectively. The device was easy to install. Picture quality is very good even in SD mode. The app is easy to use as well. I am very happy with the camera

Works amazing!
This is my second Solomon security camera , the first one has been going for many years and I just bought this one for my other property where I don’t have WiFi. I took a chance on this as I live in Nicaragua and wasn’t sure it would work with the local sim but it it! Just set it up and everything is working perfectly!!

Great camera for monitoring remote locations
The camera is awesome! We are able to monitor a vacant house day and night. We love that we are able to pan left, right, up and down. Great picture and the battery seems to be fully charged daily, even when we get rain. Will buy again!

Decent camera for the price
This camera works very well. I don’t have much activity where I’m at, so I don’t need the cloud service I just format the SD card from time to time. Very easy to set up. I haven’t had any issues yet. Going on three weeks. I use the camera daily to check on things. We’ll see how it holds up in the long run right now. It survived a few serious rainstorm. For the price, I would recommend this, and I may possibly be buying another one
