I’ve been really impressed with the Kindle Colorsoft—it feels like a fresh, thoughtful upgrade to the classic Kindle experience. The color display is the standout feature. It makes reading magazines, cookbooks, and even kids’ books so much more enjoyable without feeling like you’re staring at a harsh tablet screen. Battery life is still excellent, which I really appreciate. I don’t have to think about charging it constantly, even with regular use. The device itself is lightweight and comfortable to hold for long reading sessions, and the screen remains glare-free—even in bright light. Another thing I love is how seamless everything feels. Page turns are smooth, the interface is simple, and syncing across devices is effortless. It keeps all the things people already love about Kindle while adding just enough innovation to make it feel new. Overall, the Kindle Colorsoft strikes a great balance between innovation and comfort. If you love reading but want a little more visual richness without sacrificing that easy-on-the-eyes experience, it’s definitely worth it.

I am an avid reader and at one time I had walls of books. Not a good look in my house and I was running out of space to put them. Even after donating many, many of them. When Amazon first came out with the paperwhite, I jumped on it, and loved it so much purchased a few more for family. I use it a very long time and when they came out with the Colorsoft, I purchased it on the release. Same quality as the Paperwhite, it has excellent readability, adjustable light, nice handling size. Page turning is basically the same. I love the color part. I like having the ability to read graphic novels in color, comics, or even my hobby books that have lots of photography Any avid reader would appreciate this product and will find it is built to last a long time.

Love my new kindle, have had it for about 6 months with no complaints. Color matters to me because I use multiple color highlights when I read certain genres. Bonus the internet (author bonus chapters) and store actually work (KU binge reader here). Very nice to get current technology and the same charge cord as my phone when traveling.

Absolutely LOVE my Kindle Colorsoft. Light, holds a ton of books, and it is great when reading with my kids or taking it while traveling. Crisp, clear, reading delight!

I've used the Kindle paperwhite for several years and I love it. This is a different kind of device... It has a "grayer" background, so the contrast isn't quite as good. Color pages (comics, etc.) tend to look as if you're reading faded newsprint. Some of this can be corrected by fiddling with backlight settings. I tend to read comics with the backlight at 50% during the day and 30% at night. With that, the colors are clearer and more enjoyable -- but it does mean the battery drains quite a bit more quickly. I's been wanting this for a while but waited for a good sale. Got it on a flash sale for 40% off, and at that price I'm happy with it. One thing that would improve the usability: comic panels tend to be irregular shapes (wide and flat, tall and thin, etc.). It would be nice if there were a gyro feature to let the reader just turn the colorsoft sidewise to read wide panels instead of having to finger-zooming (which has a noticeable lag time). But still, it's much easier than reading digital comics on the harsh iPhone screen. So it's a good option for nerds on the go like me.

I effin love this new kindle color soft. I love that you can also make your book covers your screen saver. I don't have any problem with my screen at all. You can adjust the brightness and the warmth of it to fix that pesky yellow or amber color. The cover was just your basic cover but got the job done protecting the screen as it should. And I absolutely love the charging dock. It's so convenient🖤💙🖤💙

10/10 will recommend every time. I love my colorsoft. Perfect for reading at night. Great to have color. Easy to hold and read. Great settings like changing font text and size, highlighting in colors.
