Cottage Garden Witch Wizard Handcrafted Wood Magic Wand Box, 18 inch, Mahogany

For an inexpensive display box, this turned out pretty nice overall. It's left barebones no doubt to allow the buyer to customize further. Overall, it seems well put together, and sturdy.For those interested in displaying a lightsaber, this box meets and exceeds the dimensions along with providing18" of space which leaves plenty on either end.The box as shown in the pictures does come with two wooden inserts which may or may not be in the way. I found I needed to remove them. A nail is punctured from the front and back faces of the box, into each end securing it in place, for each insert. The only way to remove them is to break them at the center because they are quite sturdy inside the box.Keeping in mind that the nail removal will leave some unfinished surfaces. I found Home Depot carries a wood stain marker set of like 5 colors, and one of them perfectly matches the stain used on this box, for touch ups. Removing the inserts allows creating a soft or pillowed interior for the box, and whatever you want to put in there.I'm planning to use heavy posterboard from Walmart etc. and batting, topped and sewn to the card backing with some faux suede sold by XHT on Amazon. Hot glue should keep the card inserts in place, once fitted.

Nicely made with a rich dark stain. I'm really happy with it.

Box was what was expected. It’s a little flimsy but should not be used if your are expecting to load it up with stuff.

It fits my 16" tavern pipe nicely.I have extra room may attempt to mount the lighter pipetool pipe pouch etc to the top of the container. (That was my most pristine pipe pouch ... so I used that instead of my tatters Captain Black that is used xD )I put wood chips in mine but I'll likely take those out in the futureThe pipe pouch looks like it could fit under the middle part of the pipe so might be lazy.Don't remember what that Keychain is from but it looked like it matched so I tossed it in ... to fill out the top xDIt a pretty nice box.

It looks like it should have come from an obscure antique shop in a dark alley. I love the odd size. It was delivered quickly, and in perfect shape. A great box for out of the ordinary little treasures!

Really like the quality and color of the box. Feels very sturdy and definitely a nice way of presenting/storing my Harry Potter wand and memorabilia

It was delivered in a plastic bag with nothing to protect the box. The corner piece which is held on by thumbtacks had fallen off. The bag had holes in it so I was very lucky that all the pieces were still in the bag. I did the repair myself. The box overall is nice but really just a decoration, won’t withstand a lot of regular use. For the price and my use it will be fine.
