First of all it smells SO good. At first there is a bit of an egg / sulfur scent but it quickly vaporizes and the lasting scent during application and what is left on the hair afterwards smells like sweet cherries! Left my hair feeling so so soft and healthy. My hair is truly shining and feels strong. The color Dark Brown is definitely a true dark deep coffee brown. My hair is red underneath dyes because of prior bleach damage & my root is naturally dark brown, but this shampoo achieved a beautiful dark chocolate brown all over. It did NOT make it black, but it is dark. I left it on for 20 mins which helped it get darker too. Make sure to wear gloves and cover up; it definitely stains. Doesn't wash out when rinsing, very durable. Especially for the price, this is sooo worth it. I'm obsessed.

100% honest review.. I will never go back to traditional box hair dye again after using this! The convenience alone makes this a game changer. Being able to use it whenever I need (about every 3 to 4 weeks) without the whole messy, time-consuming process is so worth it. It’s incredibly easy to apply, especially just for touching up roots, and saves me from wasting an entire box of dye every time. It covers my gray roots flawlessly and leaves my hair looking rich and refreshed. Plus, it’s actually saving me money in the long run. Honestly feels like a million-dollar product! I only wish I had found it sooner. This will definitely be my forever go to for hair color!

Have used this product a few times since purchasing it. The smell isn't too bad, kinda like a very diluted version of box hair dye. If you get it on your skin it rinses off easily with water or a damp cloth. Be sure to rinse hair throughly and dry your hair, it can get slight color transfer on your pillow case, which washes out easily in the washing machine with no staining, for myself at least. Did not irritate the scalp or cause hair to fall out, left the product on for the recommended 15-20 mins. I read reviews that you can leave it in longer. It's nice that you can use it as often as needed for the perfected color coverage. Didn't notice any hair breakage or it drying out my hair. Followed with a good hydrating hair conditioner after. I would purchase this again, it works well for the price point.

Always do a test patch! I used this dye in Dark Brown and the color turned out beautifully: rich, even, and excellent gray coverage. It’s definitely a dark brown (almost black), but my hair tends to grab color darker. I’m sure it’ll fade gradually with each wash, but I love dark hair, so I’m happy with it. It’s super easy to use since it works like a shampoo. I also appreciated that it came with a cape, shower cap, and ear protectors. I used them all and rinsed them clean for next time. The product has a slight chemical odor, but it’s tolerable and fades quickly. It can be a bit drying, so I recommend following with a hydrating shampoo and conditioner. Be careful during application! It can stain porcelain and counters, so lay down an old towel or work over a protected surface. I used about six pumps and still have plenty left. It can get messy, so use the back of your hand to pump the product instead of your palm once you’ve started applying. I did have some irritation near my temple afterward (my scalp was fine), so if you have sensitive skin, make sure to keep it off your skin and always do a patch test first. Keep a damp washcloth handy to wipe off any dye immediately if it touches your skin. That’s the only reason I didn’t give it five stars. Overall, I’m very happy with the results and plan to use it again, just with a little extra caution next time!

I tried this black 3-in-1 hair dye shampoo hoping for an easy, all-in-one solution, and it definitely delivers, at least at first. Right after using it, my hair looked noticeably darker, almost jet black, and it did a great job covering my gray hairs initially. However, the results don’t last as long as I’d hoped. With washing my hair about three times a week, the color only held up for around two weeks before I started noticing gray hairs creeping back in. So while it’s convenient, it’s more of a temporary fix than a long-term solution. On the plus side, it left my hair feeling smoother and softer after each use, which was a nice bonus. The scent is also surprisingly pleasant.....not too strong or chemical-like, which you might expect from a dye product. Overall, this is a good option if you’re looking for quick, temporary coverage with added hair-softening benefits, but don’t expect long-lasting results.
