I ordered these for students to write what they are thankful for on a large glass window. The markers are about 5" long, but they are thick. It is hard to say at this point how long they will last, so I will update the review later. For now, they work well. There is a chisel tip that allows for writing both fine lines and thicker lines. The color is bright and shows up well on the window (I don't believe my photo does it justice). You do have to prime the markers to get them writing by just pushing in on the tip a hew times. It is not very easy to wash the chalk off the window because it takes a bit of persistence using spray cleaner and a paper towel to remove the ghost white residue. I can imagine lots of uses for these chalk markers....the next time I sell a car, for example, I will use chalk markers rather than a for sale sign.

I got these chalk markers in white and they work fine. They do take a small amount of time to get working but then they work great. I have only used them with the chisel tip and have not tried to change the point.

A few months ago I got a magnetic clear acrylic calendar for my fridge, but ended up replacing it because most dry erase markers, regardless of color, wouldn't show up. I took it to work and put it on a red metal cabinet to keep track of impending deliveries and it was even harder to read the dry erase markers on the red background. Then I came across these and thought, "hey the markings on the calendar are white, maybe this white chalk marker would work?!" Well it does work, fantastically. It's easy to read and it wipes right off with a tissue or paper towel when I need to erase it. I followed the directions on the side of the marker and it worked just as it said it should. So glad I got these!

These are very lovely chalk markers! If your looking for ease of use and clear, clean lines then these are what your looking for. Bright white dye and not difficult to get started. It writes smoothly and beautifully, however I haven't tried adjusting the tip currently because was already set to where I needed it. It also cleaned up fairly easily as well, so it's perfect for my we're pregnant and how far along we are sign!
