Clean, precise holes every time. These are in my opinion, the best Forster bits out there. I use on a daily basis and have used many brands but nothing comes anywhere close to Fisch! Forster bits have a tendency to get hot which in turn dulls the cutting edges. These with their wavy edge stay cool even on a continuous cut. Yes they are pricey but worth it but you can also buy separates so can add to your collection as and when you need. I love them and won’t use any other bit in the future.

i did quite a bit of reasearch to come upon this bit. So glad I did worth every hard earned pound of the price. Crisp clean cut. Some of the reviews here refer to a set. So they have been placed by mistake.

These are expensive, but you get what you pay for. They cut cleanly and easily leaving no tear-out (use a sacrificial backing). I've used them on mahogany, oak, walnut and maple and am very pleased with the results. I don't have them long enough to make any comments as to how well they will keep their edge with prolonged use.

Well, you get what you pay for..outstanding cutting, cleans away debris easily. I have bought cheap forstners before...never again!

Returned unused as the cutting edges on 2 of the 5 were poorly finished.The good ones were really perfectly sharp and the cutting edges across the radius were so sharp you couldn't see the edge. However, 2 of them had chunks missing and rough edges - not something that can be honed at home.Very disappointed in the quality and knocked my confidence in Fisch, so didn't reorder a replacement. It was supposed to be a superb Christmas gift. Gutted.
