Price is going to go up - because of a 5 star review. sorry.
Paid $13.59 for the 24 pack of 24Pcs RJ45 Port Lock with 2 Keys, ZoeRax Locking RJ45 Port/Dust Blocker, RJ45 Dust Cover Cap Female Port Plugs Protector (Red). These things do exactly what you'd expect them to do. Slow down anyone trying to use a port. They are well built compared to the alternatives I found here at the time of writing. Can you force them out, yes, with some effort, but that's not the intent to stop someone like with a combination lock, which can be broken into too. If you need high security, consider a locked cabinet or behind a locked door. Good enough to stop the kiddies from using a port and if they do get it out with some make-shift tool, they'll probably damage the lock or the port or both. I'm using them as a reminder not to plug into the cable modem directly.

Works very well, Don't lose the keys.
From experience, these RJ45 Port plugs work very well at securing unused ports on your switch. I accidentally threw away the keys and now my 8-port switch only has five. I can't get these plugs out without destroying the port. I'll be ordering again and putting the keys in my safe. Fit very snug.

They are great!
We purchased these to lock open ports of our small switches at our baseball fields. This is a low cost alternative to keep visitors from accessing our network.

Simple and effective
If you require a secure lock, these are perfect because they are too sturdy to be opened by hand without shattering them. The keys' high-quality plastic construction means they'll last through years of use. There are several unused POE devices and several that are only equipped with a single network (RJ-45) connection. Users frequently reconnect the network cable to an incorrect port after power cycling a device, rendering it inoperable and necessitating a quick visit to the location. Now, I've covered and locked all the unused ports! They are are simple and effective solution!

These Work Great
These RJ45 port locks work excellent. This pack comes with two keys which is nice. I use these in my switches at home and they work great. They're easy to install and easy to remove. These protect open switch ports from people sticking a cable into them to be able to access your network whether on purpose or not. Great inexpensive security tool.

Very Clever, But Limited Use Case
I was really looking forward to getting these and rushed to try them out as soon as they landed on my doorstep.I hesitantly pushed one into an empty port on my router for fear of it being stuck in there forever, but the key used to pop it back out was pretty simple.I really like the concept of these, but in reality there isn't much use case. I saw a few reviewers saying they help with troubleshooting remotely to make sure end users use the correct network port and that's a great idea. Less so if something goes wrong with the primary port and you need them to use the other port though. In that case, maybe a piece of tape would be better. For security, it wouldn't do much either because all the user needs to do is unplug one of the cables already in and just use that. But I really like the creative thinking behind this and look forward to what other ideas or uses it might spark. Maybe some kind of lock that goes around the rj45 connectors in use so that they can't be removed without the key. Then we'd be on to something. Or an rj45 connector itself that needs a key like this to be removed instead of just pressing the tab.

Decent plugs/blockers for RJ45 ports, reasonably well-made, work just fine, bit pricey
Well, there isn't a whole lot to say about these [physical] plugs/blockers for RJ45 ports except they seem reasonably well-made and work just fine without issues although don't expect these to be foolproof or even secure; as we say in IS, security measures are meant as a deterrent and nothing more. It comes with 24x pieces along with 2 keys to remove the little plugs and since the keys aren't unique, one can hope the would-be intruder doesn't already have the key that can be purchased, well, here. Btw, I wouldn't use these as anti-dust caps since there plenty of holes; use real silicone caps instead.≡ ValueAll things considered, these are decent plugs/blocks for RJ45 ports that seem reasonably well-made and work just fine without issues. However, they are a bit pricey at $20 (for 24 plugs/2 keys) for what they provide and their overall build quality, usability, and performance. Your mileage might vary.

These are interesting
They work well, sure you can get them out without the key, but they will stop anyone that isn't determined from plugging in. Great for unmanaged switches or even for keeping debris out of your ports. Also great for playing pranks on your coworkers.

Additional Security for Pennies a Port
The "RJ45 Port Lock with 2 Keys" (ASIN B0CJT4VK8W) from ZOERAX arrived with 24 clear blocks and two keys.If you're looking for a way to add additional physical security for unused RJ45 ports look no further. These cost less-than a $1 each and not only prevent folks from randomly jacking-in, they also help keep those unused ports dust free. Now, to be fair, they're not likely to keep out a determined person armed with the right tools and enough time, but they are excellent for preventing folks from casually connecting unauthorized devices to your network without permission. Just be sure to store one of the keys in a safe place.I hope you found this enlightening and/or helpful to your decision making.

Useful to protect your network devices
If you have ever had to provide technical support for non-technical users, you probably know that they often plug cables in to the wrong ports and cause more problems. With these RJ45 Port Locks, you can physically prevent people from plugging in to ethernet ports that they should not.You can use them to prevent power-over-ethernet ports from being misused, to block non-working or broken ports, or to provide a level of security by making it more difficult to plug cables into your network infrastructure. The RJ45 plugs could not be simpler. You just insert them into an open RJ45 port and the sit flush with the port leaving nothing to grasp to remove them. The package comes with 2 keys for removing the plugs. It would be difficult, but not impossible, to remove the port locks without the keys. Meaning that these provide some security against casual cable-pluggers, but could definitely be defeated by a determined individual with access to basic tools.I think these RJ45 locks are a useful addition to any network engineer’s kit and can simplify locking down your network against abuse.
