Its exactly the same knife except for the signature i have 1 2 3 with number 2 being a signature edition and honestly i wish i had bought standard one the first blood knife is amazing although heard some horror stories from people using them camping etc i display mine as props hope this helps

Would you take this Camping or on the Trail?

Yes. The blade is 420 J2 steel. The knife is very well made, and gets razor sharp. I,ve used mine for several years on the trails and camping. It will hold up, if used properly. Blade can be broken if you are intentionally trying to break it. Not recommended for prying. But stabbing, cutting, and batoning. It is prefectly fine.

Where is this made? China?

Yes it is made in China, it is a higher quality item than most stuff coming from China but this knife is not made for use it is a show prop

I'm a stickler for a well polished and razor sharp edge.. does the knife satisfy in this area?

Mine had a decent edge from the factory after I received it. Didn’t have a razor sharp edge per se but you could definitely achieve one on this knife. I took mine too a leather stropper and am satisfied with the results.
